Live and Kicking is a live album by Swedish musician Eagle-Eye Cherry released in spring 2007. [1] According to a letter posted by Cherry on his website, the album was released in Brazil in 2006.
The photograph appearing on the cover of the album was taken by Jessica and Andy Besirov during an Eagle-Eye Cherry gig in Hamburg, Germany. They used the photo also in their exhibition "Watch this Tune."

Donald Eugene Cherry was an American jazz trumpeter. Cherry had a long association with free jazz saxophonist Ornette Coleman, which began in the late 1950s. He also performed alongside musicians such as John Coltrane, Charlie Haden, Sun Ra, Ed Blackwell, the New York Contemporary Five, and Albert Ayler.
Eagle-Eye Lanoo Cherry is a Swedish singer and stage performer. His 1997 single "Save Tonight" achieved commercial success in Ireland, the United States and the United Kingdom, and was voted song of the year in New Zealand. Cherry is the son of American jazz artist Don Cherry and Swedish artist and designer Moki Cherry.
Neneh Mariann Karlsson, better known as Neneh Cherry, is a Swedish singer-songwriter, rapper, occasional DJ and broadcaster. Her musical career started in London in the early 1980s, where she performed in a number of punk and post-punk bands in her youth, including the Slits and Rip Rig + Panic.

It is the album's opening track and gained substantial radio success, reaching number three in Ireland, number five in the United States, number six in the United Kingdom, and number two in Cherry's native Sweden. It was voted song of the year by New Zealand radio station The Edge. "Save Tonight" is considered the signature song of Eagle-Eye Cherry. It was awarded the Rockbjörnen award in the "Swedish song of the year 1997" category.

Following the success of "Save Tonight", it was given a North American radio release in February 1999. The song reached number eight on the UK Singles Chart and peaked inside the top 50 in France, Iceland, and Ireland. Although the song charted in Canada and its music video received rotation on VH1, it did not appear on any US Billboard charts. The song's music video was directed by Stéphane Sednaoui.
