Live at The Triple Door is the third album by Skerik's Syncopated Taint Septet released 2010. [1] It was recorded live at the venue The Triple Door in Seattle September 2003. Two tracks feature vocalist Om Johari (of Hell's Belles). Several tracks include string arrangements. [2]

The Triple Door

The Triple Door is a dinner theater, lounge and music venue founded in the fall of 2003, located at 216 Union Street in Seattle, Washington. The building often hosts concerts for folk, indie, and World music groups. The Triple Door is also notable for the numerous effective fundraisers it has held and/or hosted, such as the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation and The Triple Door Young Artists Fundraiser. One fundraiser had an auction that raised around 1.15 million dollars for various children organizations.

White tie, also called full evening dress or a dress suit, is the most formal in traditional evening Western dress codes. For men, it consists of a black dress tailcoat worn over a white starched shirt, marcella waistcoat and the eponymous white bow tie worn around a standing wingtip collar. High-waisted black trousers and patent leather oxford or optionally court shoes complete the outfit. Orders insignia and medals can be worn. Acceptable accessories include a top hat, white gloves, a white scarf, a pocket watch and a boutonnière. Women wear full length ball or evening gowns and, optionally, jewellery, tiaras, a small handbag and evening gloves.

"For me, Husky is that rare combination of everything lining up perfectly at the right time. You're lucky if you get one of these in a lifetime. The band had been on the road touring, so we knew the music inside out. We had a day off in Los Angeles, so we went into The Sound Factory, which is a one-of-a-kind studio out there and cut the entire record that day."
