"Living in a Dream" is the first single from Canadian alternative rock band Finger Eleven's sixth album, Life Turns Electric . It was released in August 2010. This song, along with "Paralyzer" from their last album, has a "dance-rock" feel to the track.
The song failed to be as big a hit internationally as the last album's lead single, "Paralyzer" was, failing to hit the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and reaching the top five on any rock format.
The song was used as the official theme song for the 2011 WWE Royal Rumble event that is produced by WWE.
The music video released on October 21, 2010. It shows the band performing in a dark room.
"Living In a Dream" did moderately well on the rock tracks, although underperforming the lead single "Paralyzer" from their previous album Them vs. You vs. Me . In the U.S., the single had strong debuts on both the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks and Alternative Songs. "Living in a Dream" eventually become a top 10 hit on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks and a top 15 hit on the Alternative Songs chart. The single failed to chart on the Hot 100, though. The song has also gone top 50 in Canada.

Finger Eleven is a Canadian alternative rock band from Burlington, Ontario, formed in 1990. They have released seven studio albums, with their album The Greyest of Blue Skies bringing them into the mainstream. Their 2003 self-titled album achieved Gold status in the United States and Platinum in Canada, largely from the success of the single "One Thing", which marked the band's first placing on the US Hot 100 Chart at number 16. Their 2007 album, Them vs. You vs. Me launched the single "Paralyzer", which went on to top the Canadian Hot 100 and both US rock charts, as well as reaching No. 6 on the US Hot 100 and No. 12 on the Australian Singles Chart. They won the Juno Award for Rock Album of the Year in 2008. The same album was later certified gold in the US and multi-platinum in Canada. They released their sixth studio album, Life Turns Electric, on October 5, 2010; it was nominated for a Juno Award for Best Rock Album of the Year. The first single off the album, "Living in a Dream", added elements of funk rock and dance rock, just like their hit song "Paralyzer". Five Crooked Lines, their 7th studio album, was released in 2015. Between 1995 and 2016, Finger Eleven was among the top 75 best-selling Canadian artists in Canada and among the top 25 best-selling Canadian bands in Canada.

However, the song has also been characterized as alternative rock.
"I'll Keep Your Memory Vague" is the third single and also the third track on Finger Eleven's fifth studio album Them vs. You vs. Me. It is also Finger Eleven's second single to be played on adult contemporary radio stations.
"Sorry" is a ballad by American hard rock band Buckcherry. It is their fifth and final single from their third album, 15. It was not originally planned to be a single, but after increasing popularity on mainstream radio, the band made a video and officially released the song.
"Hanginaround" is a single by American rock band Counting Crows. It is the first track on their third album This Desert Life (1999). The song managed to hit number 28 on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming their biggest hit on the chart. "Something's Always Wrong" was co-written by Glen Phillips and Todd Nichols. Although not as popular as "Fall Down", "Something's Always Wrong" became a hit in the United States and Canada and helped propel Dulcinea to platinum status.
"Blue on Black" is a song by American blues rock band Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band. Written by Shepherd with songwriters Mark Selby and Tia Sillers; Noah Hunt provides the lead vocal. The song was originally released on their second studio album, Trouble Is... (1997).
