Liz and Lisa

Liz and Lisa was a band formed by Lisa Loeb and Elizabeth Mitchell while both were enrolled at Brown University in the late 1980s. [1] [2] Both women were in the class of 1990 at Brown. Loeb wrote most of the lyrics and music, and was the principal musician, with Mitchell often taking lead vocals. They recorded a popular tape, with songs such as "Notes and Daisies" "Garden of Delights" and "Hadrian's Wall". Their supporting band at Brown at one point included Duncan Sheik on electric guitar. [1]

Loeb went on to mainstream success with the song "Stay (I Missed You)" on which Mitchell sings backup. Loeb has put out several albums since "Stay".

Mitchell formed the band Ida with Dan Littleton and others in the early 1990s. They have released several albums.

In 2003, Liz and Lisa reunited for the children's album Catch the Moon .

Catch the Moon is an album by Lisa Loeb and Elizabeth Mitchell released in 2003 by Artemis Records. The album is a collection of children's music played in a folk music style. It comes in the form of a child's cardboard storybook written by Erin Courtney and illustrated by Bonnie Brook Mitchell. The CD slides out the top of the back cover.

Wendy & Lisa are a music duo consisting of Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman. "Stay " is a song by American singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb. It was released in May 1994 as the lead single from the original movie soundtrack to Reality Bites (1994). The song was written and composed by Loeb herself, while production was handled by Juan Patiño. "Stay" was originally conceived in 1990, at one point with the intent of selling it to Daryl Hall for a project he was seeking music for. Upon deciding to use the song herself, Loeb's neighbor and friend, actor Ethan Hawke heard the song and submitted it to Ben Stiller for use in the film he was directing, Reality Bites. The song plays over the film's closing credits. Musically, "Stay" is a pop rock song that was also influenced by folk music. It is in the key of Db major. Lyrically, the song deals with a relationship that has recently ended, but the narrator is now regretful.

Elizabeth Mitchell is an American singer, songwriter and musician. She began her career performing with Lisa Loeb as the duo Liz and Lisa, then founded the indie rock band Ida in 1991, of which she continues to be a member. Scott Putesky American musician

Scott Mitchell Putesky, also known as Daisy Berkowitz, was an American musician, songwriter, composer, visual artist, and record producer. He was the co-founder of the rock band Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids , and was the guitarist for the band until 1996. After leaving Marilyn Manson, Putesky was involved in a number of other projects such as Three ton Gate, The Linda Blairs, Jack Off Jill, Stuck on Evil, Kill Miss Pretty, and The Daisy Kids.
