Llan de Cubel are a Celtic folk band from Asturias (Spain) which specializes in researching, playing and recording Asturian folk music.

Formed in 1984, group has been part of an overall revival and revitalization of Asturian traditional music. The band is a frequent participant in Celtic music festivals, both inside and outside of Asturias, such as the Festival Interceltique de Lorient. True to their effort to play authentic Asturian music, Llan de Cubel play traditional Asturian instruments, such as bagpipes (called gaita), and percussion, in addition to fiddles, accordions, bouzouki, flutes and guitars. [1] The band plays traditional Asturian tunes collected through ethnomusicological research. [2] They also write original material in the tradition of folk music of the region.

Llan de Cubel have won several awards for their music. [3] [4]

L'Héritage des Celtes is a 50-piece Pan-Celt band with musicians from Celtic nations, started by two Bretons in the town of Quimper ; the producer Jacques Bernard and the guitarist Dan Ar Braz. It started as a gathering of friends to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Festival de Cornouaille in 1993. The adventure surpassed all expectations: 2.5 million albums sold, thousands of spectators in biggest stages of France and two Victoires de la Musique awards in 1996 and 1998. La Reina del Truébano is an Asturian gaitas band formed in 1996. It is known for being a first grade band in Asturias and Spain, and also for its participation in important competitions and festivals in Ireland, United States and France. Today, it is based in Navia and directed by Luis Feito Cano, with Pablo Gonzalez Lopez in charge of the drumming section.
