Dirty Mind is the third album by American recording artist Prince. It was released on October 8, 1980, by Warner Bros. Records as the follow-up to his self-titled second album, Prince, (1979). It was produced, arranged, and composed entirely by Prince in his home studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota during May to June of 1980. Dirty Mind has been considered by critics as Prince's most creative and boldest album, setting the baseline for his artistic direction in the following years.
Sweatshop Union is a Canadian hip hop collective based in Vancouver, British Columbia, consisting of four politically-minded rap acts — Dirty Circus, Pigeon Hole, Kyprios and Innocent Bystanders. Known for their socially conscious lyrics, Sweatshop Union's music comments on issues ranging from the war in Iraq, the plight of the poor and working-class, to the negativity and misogyny of mainstream hip-hop.
The Innocents is the third studio album by Erasure, released in 1988. Produced by Stephen Hague and released by Mute Records in Germany and the UK and Sire/Reprise Records in the USA, it was the release that made Erasure superstars in their home country of England and gave them their long-awaited breakthrough in America.
Buckcherry is the eponymous debut album by the rock band Buckcherry. It was released on April 6, 1999 by DreamWorks Records. The Dirty Mac was a name given by John Lennon to a one-time performance with Eric Clapton, Keith Richards and Mitch Mitchell in December 1968. They played the Lennon Beatles composition "Yer Blues" for the Rolling Stones' TV special titled The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus, which was not released until October 1996. Lennon and Clapton later recorded the first Plastic Ono Band album, Live Peace in Toronto 1969, which also included "Yer Blues".
The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus is the fifth release of The Rolling Stones music by former manager Allen Klein's ABKCO Records after the band's departure from Decca and Klein. Released in 1996, The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus is a live album that captures the taping of their ill-fated 1968 TV special, which was not broadcast until almost two decades later.
Beat the Boots II is a box set by Frank Zappa. It compiles bootleg recordings which were previously available illegally, and was released through Rhino Entertainment in 1992 as part of Zappa's campaign to dissuade his fans from buying illegal recordings of his concerts. The set contains material from between 1968 and 1978, including Swiss Cheese/Fire! which documents a famous 1971 concert at a casino in Montreux where the venue burned down, inspiring the lyrics of Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water".
Incontinent is the second album by Frank Tovey, better known as Fad Gadget, released in 1981. While developing the industrial sound of his debut Fireside Favourites in 1980, the new album relied less on drum machines and found objects, introducing more traditional instruments such as accordion and jaw harp, as well as making more frequent use of female backing vocals. The album's cover featured Tovey made up as the puppet Punch. Its lyrical content was informed by his tour of the US in 1980.

Superchip: The Final Silicon Solution? is the eighth and final album by the Edgar Broughton Band. This album saw them on their own record label, and also saw them returning to their original moniker, "Edgar Broughton Band" as opposed to The Broughtons as they were called on their previous album, Parlez-Vous English?. This album still sees the band with a slightly different sound, with prominent use of synthesisers, but still retaining their original psychedelic rock roots. The album was originally released as "Sheet Records Sheet 2" in 1982. The 2006 CD reissue features one bonus track, which was an electronic dance track created by Edgar Broughton and his son, Luke Broughton.

Pigeon Hole is a Canadian hip hop group from Vancouver. They were previously known as "Creative Minds". The duo consists of Colin "Dusty Melo" McCue and Lee "Marmalade" Napthine, who are also members of the band Sweatshop Union.
Kyprios is the stage name of David Coles, a Canadian hip hop musician.
At the BBC is a collection of English punk rock band Sham 69 tracks that were performed in session at the BBC and was released in 2003. Tracks 1 to 5 recorded for John Peel at the Maida Vale Studios, London 28 November 1977 and first transmitted on 6 December 1977. Other tracks were recorded in concert at the Paris Theatre, London on 21 February 1979.
