Lodovico Fumicelli

Lodovico Fumicelli (active c. 1536) was an Italian painter of the Renaissance period. He was a native of Treviso. It is not known whether he was a pupil of Titian, but he was clearly influenced. In 1536 he painted the main altarpiece of the church of the Padri Eremitani at Padua, representing the Virgin and Infant seated in glory, with St. Augustine, St. James, and St. Marina below. In the church of the Padri Serviti at Trevigi, he painted a picture of St. Liberale and St. Catharine, with two laterals, representing St. Sebastian and St. Philip, the latter the founder of their order.

His dated works span the period from 1524 to 1554, but he was already described as a master in 1516. He was mainly a painter of altarpieces that tend towards sedateness, mostly for churches in and around Brescia, but also in Bergamo, Milan, Verona and Asola; many remain in the churches they were painted for. Most are on canvas, but a number even of large ones are on wood panel. Only a handful of drawings survive.

Giuseppe Puglia Italian painter

Giuseppe Puglia (1600–1636) was an Italian painter, born in Rome. He was also known as Giuseppe del Bastaro. According to Baglioni, flourished chiefly during the pontificate of Urban VIII. There are several of his works in churches at Rome, including a Presentation in the Temple, in the cloister of the Padri della Minerva ; and an altarpiece in the church of Santa Maria Maggiore, representing The Virgin appears to Giovanni Patrizi. In the church of San Girolamo there are a Descent from the Cross and a St. Jerome. He died at Rome.

Marcantonio Riverditi was an Italian painter of the Baroque. He was born in Alessandria della Paglia, and trained in Bologna, where he followed the style of Guido Reni.

Domenico Carpinoni Italian painter

Domenico Carpinoni was an Italian painter of the Renaissance period. He was born at Clusone in the Valle Seriana. He was sent to Venice when young, and became a pupil of the younger Palma il Giovane. He painted a Birth of St. John the Baptist and Descent from the Cross for the principal church of Clusone a Transfiguration for the Chiesa di Monasterolo del Castello in the Valle Cavallina, and an Adoration of the Magi for the church of the Padri Osservanti at Lovere.

Giovanni Sarnelli was an Italian painter of the late-Baroque style. He was one of at least four brothers: including Antonio, Gennaro, and Giuseppe, trained in the studio of Paolo de Matteis, and active painting mainly sacred subjects in Campania, Italy. Their father had been an army officer for the Royal administration. One of Giovanni's brothers, Ferdinando, was a secretary of the Banco di San Giacomo. The biographer Bernardo De Dominici mainly recalled Gennaro, but mentioned that Antonio and Giovanni, then still alive were excellent pupils of Matteis.

Luca Antonio Bistega or Luca Bestega was an Italian painter of quadratura, active mainly in Bologna, Italy.
