Bozeman is a city in and the county seat of Gallatin County, Montana, United States. Located in southwest Montana, the 2020 census put Bozeman's population at 53,293 making it the fourth-largest city in Montana. It is the principal city of the Bozeman, Montana, Micropolitan Statistical Area, consisting of all of Gallatin County with a population of 118,960. It is the fastest growing micropolitan statistical area in the United States in 2018, 2019 and 2020, as well as the second-largest of all Montana's statistical areas.
Big Sky is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Gallatin and Madison counties in southwestern Montana, United States. Lookout Pass Ski and Recreation Area is a ski area in the western United States. It is at Lookout Pass on Interstate 90, on the border of Idaho and Montana, five miles (8 km) east of Mullan, Idaho. It has a summit elevation of 6,150 ft (1,870 m) on Eagle Peak and 5,650 ft (1,720 m) on Runt Mountain with a vertical drop of 1,650 ft (500 m). Lookout Pass operates seven days per week from mid-December until mid-April.
Soldiers Chapel is a non-denominational Christian memorial chapel in Big Sky, Gallatin County, Montana, USA, dedicated in 1955 by the Nelson Story family in tribute to a fallen family member of the 163rd Infantry Regiment. The regiment was part of the Montana National Guard during World War II. Open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with services at 11 a.m. on Sundays, the chapel is popular for special events such as weddings. The chapel is at an elevation of 6,017 feet (1,834 m).

Herbert Richard Agocs was an American football, wrestling, and track and field coach, and professor of physical education. He served as the head football coach at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana from 1958 to 1962, compiling a record of 30–13–2. Agocs was also the head wrestling coach at Montana State from 1963 to 1970, leading his teams to Big Sky Conference championships in 1964 and 1965. In addition, he coached track and taught physical education at Montana State. Agocs played college football at the University of Pennsylvania before serving at the United States Naval Training Center Bainbridge, where was a player/coach in football and coach in wrestling.

Troy Andersen is an American professional football linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Montana State where previously played quarterback, running back and fullback for them before moving to linebacker. He was named a FCS All-American and the Big Sky Conference defensive player of the year in 2021.
Jubrile Izuhunwa Belo-Osagie is a British professional basketball player for Stade Rochelais Basket of the Pro A. He played college basketball for the Montana State Bobcats and Lamar CC Runnin' Lopes.
