Sacha Noam Baron Cohen is an English comedian, actor, writer, director, and producer. He is known for his creation and portrayal of several fictional satirical characters, including Ali G, Borat Sagdiyev, Brüno Gehard, and Admiral General Aladeen. Like his idol Peter Sellers, Baron Cohen adopts a variety of accents and guises for his characters. He interacts with unsuspecting subjects, who do not realise they have been set up for self-revealing ridicule. On these interactions, The Observer states, "his career has been built on winding people up, while keeping a deadpan face".

As of 2017 the title is held by his son, the third Baron, who succeeded to the title in that year. He is the solicitor to, among others, Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and other members of the Royal family. The first Baron was the son of poet laureate Robert Bridges. The first Baron's grandson and current Baron's cousin was created a Life Peer as Baron Bridges of Headley.
