Lori Verstegen Ryan is professor of management at San Diego State University. [1] She is the director of SDSU's Corporate Governance Institute. She is on the editorial boards of Business & Society and Business Ethics Quarterly and previously served on the editorial board of Academy of Management Review and as associate editor for corporate governance of Business & Society . [2] [3] Ryan is a Fellow of the International Association for Business and Society, [4] having served as conference chair (2005) [5] and president (2006-2007). [6]

The Fowler College of Business is one of seven academic colleges at San Diego State University (SDSU), located in San Diego, California, United States. The college offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees. On October 26, 2016 the university announced that the college was named the Fowler College of Business in honor of Ron Fowler, co-owner and executive chairman of the San Diego Padres, and his wife Alexis, who is a graduate of the college's Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy. The couple had pledged a $25 million endowment to the college - the largest gift in the university's 119-year history.

The San Diego State University College of Arts & Letters provides liberal arts education at SDSU. Halil Guven is a Cypriot-born professor, currently serving as the Dean of San Diego State University - Georgia. He was a Vice Dean of SDSU Georgia for four years before then and was one of the coordinators of the project at the time of its conception. Dr. Güven served as a Rector at three different universities in Turkey and in Cyprus. He served as the rector of Istanbul Bilgi University appointed in the academic year of 2009–2010, Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), North Cyprus in 2004–2007, and Bahçeşehir University, Istanbul, Turkey in 1999–2003. He received his B.S. degree from Boğaziçi University, his M.S. degree from Mississippi State University on Fulbright Scholarship (1981), and his Ph.D. degree from University of Houston, in Mechanical Engineering(1983). Ann K. Buchholtz was Professor of Leadership and Ethics and Research Director of the Institute for Ethical Leadership at Rutgers University. She served on the Board of Governors of the Academy of Management and was past Division Chair of the Social Issues in Management (SIM) division, as well as inaugural Chairperson of the Ethics Adjudication Committee at Academy of Management. Emmorey holds the position of Distinguished Professor in the School of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at San Diego State University, where she directs the Laboratory for Language and Cognitive Neuroscience and the Center for Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience.
