Los Dynamite are a Mexican indie rock band based in Mexico City. Most of their songs are written in English. [1] [2]
The band is made up of Diego Solorzano (vocals, guitar), Miguel Angel Bribiesca (bass) and Eduardo Pacheco (drums) [3] and previously Felipe Botello (guitar). [4]
They met first at INHUMYC (a high school placed in the district of Tlalpan, in Mexico City) and started playing together, helped by Paco Huidobro. The band became famous when their song TV was used in a commercial of the cellphone company Telcel through summer of 2005. [5] [6] Their influences include The Velvet Underground, The Clash, Pixies, New Order, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, [5] Interpol and The Strokes. [4] The band mixes rock with techno and punk. [7]
They opened the concerts of Interpol [6] and played at festivals like Creamfields. They have shared the stages with artists like The Secret Machines, Bloc Party, The Kills, [5] The Stills, Dirty Pretty Things, [8] Incubus, The Juan Mclean and The Faint.
Their songs TV and Katatonic placed in the charts of Mexican alternative stations like Reactor 105.7 and Ibero 90.9 as best singles of the year, and Mexican Rolling Stone placed them as the most promising Mexican bands. They released their first album, Greatest Hits (released through Noiselabs and produced by Paco Huidobro), [5] in 2006, with the tracks: TV, Frenzy, Pleasure, Smile, Ready Ready, Hold On, I'm 32, No Me Sueltes, 24, Katatonic, Visions with their first video 'Ready Ready' directed by Pablo Dávila.

Colonia Peralvillo is a colonia located in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City, just northwest of the city's historic center. Paulina Gómez Torres known professionally as Paulina Goto is a former Mexican actress, singer, and television hostess. She was a member of the popular Mexican-Argentine pop group, Eme 15, formed by Televisa producer Pedro Damián, from 2011 to 2014. 20 Años de Éxitos En Vivo con Moderatto is the third live album by Mexican recording artist Alejandra Guzmán. It was released by EMI Latin on June 21, 2011, and features the participation of Moderatto as her backing band. Jay de la Cueva worked as producer of the album, which was recorded at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City on March 17, 2011. The album includes Guzmán's greatest hits, a song originally performed by Moderatto, and two newly recorded songs, including the theme song of the Mexican telenovela Una familia con suerte.

The Mexico City Alebrije Parade is an annual event to honor Mexican handcrafts and folk art, especially a hard kind of papier-mâché called “cartonería” and the creation of fantastic figures with it called “alebrijes.” Alebrijes are chimera-like creatures credited to artisan Pedro Linares painted in bright colors. The alebrijes for the parade are larger than anything Linares created, up to four meters in height and three meters in width. The parade begins on midday on a Saturday in late October in the historic center of Mexico City. The giant creatures are accompanied by musicians, clowns, people in costume and more, giving the event a Carnival-like atmosphere. After the parade the creations are judged with prizes awarded. There are also related literary and musical compositions.
Luis Y. Aragón is a Mexican painter and sculptor, best known for his sculpted mural work, as well as the design of the Gawi Tonara award which is given by the state of Chihuahua. His mural work can be found in various parts of Mexico, especially his home state of Chihuahua and Mexico City. His work has been exhibited in Mexico and abroad, generally in the Americas and Europe. He is a member of the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana and works in Mexico City.

Alejandra Margarita Ávalos Rodríguez is a Mexican singer, musician and actress. She began her career in 1980, when she took part in the musical contest La Voz del Heraldo. After receiving a scholarship to study in a two-year training program, she began working as a model; afterwards, she began appearing on television as a supporting actress in 1983; by that time she also provided backing vocals for some recording artists. Since 1984, Ávalos obtained a number of leading roles on stage, including the theatrical productions The Rocky Horror Show and Jesus Christ Superstar. At the time, she began working as a TV host on Televisa. Avalos's breakthrough came in 1986 with her first leading role on television in the successful series El padre Gallo, media referred to Ávalos as "The New Young Super-Star".

Martín Arzola Ortega, commonly referred to by his alias "El 53", was a Mexican convicted drug lord and former high-ranking leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), a criminal group based in Jalisco. He worked under Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, the alleged top leader of the CJNG. Arzola Ortega began his criminal career in 1998 as a cargo truck thief and eventually joined the Milenio Cartel, the predecessor group of the CJNG. After several of his bosses were arrested and/or killed, he founded the CJNG with other defectors in the 2010s.

Víctor Manuel Vázquez Mireles is a Mexican drug lord and high-ranking member of the Gulf Cartel, a criminal group based in Tamaulipas, Mexico. Vázquez Mireles joined the cartel during the 1990s and was a trusted enforcer of former kingpin Osiel Cárdenas Guillén. He started his career in the cartel as one of his bodyguards and was eventually placed in charge of operations in Tamaulipas and Veracruz. He was reportedly responsible for supervising the purchase of drugs intended to be smuggled into the U.S. for distribution and for arranging the assistance of corrupt law enforcement officials in the cartel's operations.
Raúl Hernández Barrón, also known by his alias Flanders 1, was a Mexican suspected drug lord and high-ranking member of Los Zetas, a criminal group based in Tamaulipas, Mexico. Hernández Barrón served in the Mexican Army from 1993 to 1999 as an infantry soldier. He then left and joined the Gulf Cartel under the kingpin Osiel Cárdenas Guillén, and became part of the first members of their newly formed paramilitary wing, Los Zetas. Like Hernández Barrón, most of the first members of Los Zetas were ex-military. Los Zetas was responsible for providing security services to Cárdenas Guillén and carrying out executions on the cartel's behalf. Hernández Barrón was also responsible for coordinating drug trafficking activities in Veracruz.
