Lost Ocean is an American Christian rock band from Bakersfield, California, United States; they are currently Independent, but were signed to Credential Recordings until early 2009. They have released two EPs and a self-titled debut that was released on February 20, 2007. In January 2008, they went on the Northwest Winter Rock Tour with The Send and Ruth; and then later on the Credential Recordings Tour with other Credential bands in April 2008.
The band started as a combination of two different bands that attended the same church (Riverlakes Church). Black, Johnson and Short were in a band called The Last Of Us with Jonny Buell and Lewis Conger. Gray had been in a band called the Curves. Buell left the Last of Us and the remaining members wanted to continue playing. Gray had finished playing with the Curves and joined in with the Last of Us under the new name Vow and Volition. Vow and Volition initially played frequently live as a post hardcore band attempting to fuse metal, punk and emo. The band had difficulty hiring a vocalist that could do the screaming and singing vocals Conger desired the band to have. Unable to find a good vocalist, the band began to have disagreements in the direction and style of music they would write. Conger, the chief song writer at the time, was hard to work with and eventually left the band over musical differences and self admitted "immaturity." The band decided to continue and Gray stepped in as the vocalist and changed their name to Lost Ocean. The band began writing pop and rock material with Gray's voice excellently lending itself to the music. The band went on to small success and eventually a record contract.
In early 2009, it was announced that Lost Ocean had been dropped from Credential Recordings after their contract ran out. In June 2009, Lost Ocean released their first independent release called All Our Friends - EP. In November 2009, Lost Ocean released their second studio album, Could This Be Love?
Dez Paul Cadena is an American punk rock singer and guitarist. He was the third vocalist and later rhythm guitarist for hardcore punk band Black Flag from 1980 to 1983. Cadena played guitar with the Misfits from 2001 to 2015, initially joining the band alongside Doyle, Jerry Only and Robo for their 25th Anniversary Tour and has served as the band's longest tenured guitarist. He resides in Newark, New Jersey.
Dead Boys are an American punk rock band from Cleveland, Ohio. The band was among the first wave of punk bands, and was known as one of the rowdiest and most violent punk groups of the era. Dead Boys were formed by vocalist Stiv Bators, lead guitarist Cheetah Chrome, rhythm guitarist Jimmy Zero, bassist Jeff Magnum, and drummer Johnny Blitz in 1976, splintering off from the band Rocket From The Tombs. They released two studio albums, Young Loud and Snotty and We Have Come for Your Children.
The Teen Idles were an American hardcore punk band formed in Washington, D.C. in September 1979. Consisting of teenagers Nathan Strejcek, Geordie Grindle, Ian MacKaye and Jeff Nelson, they recorded two demo sessions and the 1980 Minor Disturbance EP before breaking up in November 1980. The influential independent record label Dischord Records was originally created with the sole purpose of releasing The Teen Idles Minor Disturbance 7" record. They were an early landmark in the D.C. hardcore movement, and MacKaye and Nelson would later form the seminal punk rock outfit Minor Threat.
Yellowcard was an American rock band that formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997 and were based in Los Angeles beginning in 2000. The band is well known for its singles "Ocean Avenue", "Only One", and "Lights and Sounds". The group's music is distinctive within its genre because it features the prominent use of a violin. The band released ten studio albums, with its most recent and final one, Yellowcard, released on September 30, 2016. The band played its final show on March 25, 2017, at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California.
Alexisonfire is a five-piece Canadian post-hardcore band that formed in St. Catharines, Ontario in 2001. They describe their music as "the sound of two Catholic high-school girls in mid-knife-fight". When the band emerged in late 2001, it was enough to impress critics as well as earning their self-titled debut album a platinum certification in Canada. The band has released three subsequent successful studio albums since then: Watch Out! in 2004, Crisis in 2006, and Old Crows/Young Cardinals in 2009, each achieving platinum certification in their native country. Plus three special edition live albums from Manchester Academy, Birmingham Academy, and Brixton Academy. Their accolades include a 2005 Juno Award for New Group of the Year.

Just Surrender is an American rock band from Dover Plains, New York, formerly known as A Second Chance. Just Surrender was formed by three high school friends from Dover High School in Dover Plains, NY, Jason "Jay" Maffucci, Andy Meunier, and Steve Miller. Vocalist/guitarist Dan Simons, formerly of "The Record Collection," joined the original three members; the group was a four-piece until 2008. The band is known for the up-beat mood in their music, and for not having a lead vocalist, but rather having two vocalists who "share the spotlight." The group has since released three studio albums and one EP.
William Ryan Key is an American rock musician. He is best known as the former lead singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist of the former pop punk band Yellowcard. He is currently the owner/operator of a recording studio in Franklin, Tennessee, called The Lone Tree Recordings. He is currently touring and writing music under his full name, William Ryan Key, as a solo acoustic act. He has recently toured as guitarist/vocalist/keyboardist for New Found Glory. In late 2018, he played as a supporting act on Mayday Parade's Sunnyland tour along with This Wild Life.

Tales Told by Dead Friends is the debut EP by American rock band Mayday Parade, released on June 13, 2006. The group resulted from the merger of local acts Kid Named Chicago and Defining Moment. With their line-up solidified, the first two songs they wrote together was "When I Get Home, You're So Dead" and "Three Cheers for Five Years". Soon afterwards, they recorded an EP, Tales Told by Dead Friends, with Lee Dyess. The group followed Warped Tour and sold copies to people in line. By the end of summer, the band had sold 10,000 copies of the EP. This attracted the attention of Fearless Records, who would sign the band in late August. The group went on tour from September to November, before the EP was reissued by Fearless.

This Will Be the Death of Us is the second studio album by American rock band Set Your Goals, released on July 21, 2009, on Epitaph Records. Following the release of their debut album Mutiny! in 2006, the group discovered they were not being paid royalties. After a prolonged battle to terminate their contract, the band began working on their second album in late 2008. They spent March 2008 recording with producer Mike Green in Los Angeles, California. Friends from other bands contributed additional vocal performances on several songs. Preceded by supporting tours with New Found Glory and All Time Low, This Will Be the Death of Us was released through independent label Epitaph Records in July 2009.
Gabriel the Marine was an American rock band from Long Island, New York. The band is currently composed of guitarist and vocalist Mike Desmond and guitarist Dominick D'Agostino, bassist Tom Costa, and drummer Tom Davis. The band, since its inception into the independent rock scene in 2008 has released a self titled demo, and an EP entitled "Your Friends and Loved Ones".
