The show promotes itself as a social experiment where single men and women look for love and get engaged, all before meeting in person. Each season premieres episodes on Netflix over the course of 3 or 4 weeks and are followed by a reunion special and three "After the Altar" episodes that follow months later. The series is a prequel spin-off of the Netflix series Bridgerton. The story is loosely based on an alternate history take on the rise of Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz to prominence and power in the late 18th century. The series premiered on May 4, 2023, and consists of 6 episodes that are roughly an hour in runtime each.
One Day is a British romantic drama limited series based on the 2009 novel by David Nicholls as well as the 2011 film adaptation.
