Luc Frank (born 29 April 1972) is a Belgian politician serving as a member of the Chamber of Representatives since 2024. [1] Until 2024,he served as mayor of Kelmis. [2]
Neutral Moresnet was a small Belgian–Prussian condominium in western Europe that existed from 1816 to 1921 and was administered jointly by the United Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Kingdom of Prussia. It was 1.5 kilometres (1 mi) wide and 5 kilometres (3 mi) long,with an area of 3.6 square kilometres. After 1830,the territory's northernmost border point at Vaalserberg connected it to a quadripoint shared additionally with the Dutch Province of Limburg,the Prussian Rhine Province,and the Belgian Liège Province. That border point's position is currently represented by the Three-Country Point,the meeting place of the borders of Belgium,Germany,and the Netherlands.

Aachen Schanz station is a railway station in Aachen,Germany on the railway line Aachen–Mönchengladbach. The station is located at the western end of the inner city,and is the station with the shortest walking distance to the historic center or the Aachen Cathedral. Kris Kelmi was a Soviet and Russian rock and pop musician and composer. He was a member of the bands Leap Summer,Autograph,and Rock Atelier. Some of his most well-known songs are Night Rendezvous,Closing the Ring,and Tired Taxi. Most online sources indicated that Kelmi was a pseudonym,and the musician's surname was Kalinkin. Kelmi denied this version. Kelmi believed that he most likely was Lithuanian on his father's side,explaining that there is a town in Lithuania called Kelmė,which is consonant with his last name. Kris took the nickname in 1972,after Dr. Kris Kelvin,the hero of Stanisław Lem's novel,Solaris.
Viola lutea subsp. calaminaria is a subspecies of V. lutea,in the violet family,the Violaceae. The plant occurs from Kelmis in the Belgian province of Liège across the borders to Germany and the Netherlands. The plant has adapted to an excess of zinc in the tailings of a former mine,the heaps of stone left over after separating the valuable fraction from the ore. By evolving the ability to cope with the toxic heavy metal pollution,this violet has gained an advantage over the other plants in the ecosystem,as is able to become the locally dominant floral component of such habitats.

Neu-Moresnet is a village and sub-municipality of Kelmis in the German-speaking community of the province of Liège,Wallonia,Belgium. The village was founded as Prussian-Moresnet as part of the Lower Rhine Province. In 1919,after World War I,it was awarded to Belgium,and renamed Neu-Moresnet. In 1940,it was annexed by Nazi Germany,and in 1944,it was returned to Belgium. Neu-Moresnet was an independent municipality until 1977 when it was merged into Kelmis.
Celmisia major is a species of daisy that is endemic to New Zealand. It is split into two different varieties,Celmisia major var. major and Celmisia major var. brevis. Despite being in the same species,it is thought that the two varieties are not close to one another,with botanist Peter James de Lange stressing critical study on the taxonomy of the daisies. It was first described by Thomas Cheeseman in 1925. The major variety is found in the Auckland area and nearby islands,while the brevis variety is confined to Mount Taranaki.
