Luca Alexander Sosa (born 11 June 1994) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a defender for Barcelona. [1]
Sosa's career with Huracán started in 2014. [1] [2] He was an unused substitute in ten Primera B Nacional matches in 2013–14, on the third occasion he was subbed on for Eduardo Domínguez to make his professional debut in a draw versus Aldosivi on 12 April. [1] He made just one league appearance in 2013–14, likewise in 2014. [1] Sosa was subsequently loaned to Talleres of Torneo Federal A in February 2015. [1] [3] He made his debut on 11 October against Cipolletti and scored the club's second goal in a 1–3 win. [1] [4] After a further appearance against Unión Aconquija days later, Sosa returned to parent club, now of the Argentine Primera División, Huracán. [1]
In July 2017, after two goals in fourteen games for Huracán, Sosa signed a new contract with the club until June 2019 and immediately joined fellow Primera División side Patronato on loan. [1] [5] [6] However, after returning from his Patronato loan, Sosa departed Huracán to sign for Deportivo Cuenca of the Ecuadorian Serie A. [1]
Sosa joined Guayaquil City for the 2019 season. [7]
On January 14, 2021, Sosa joined Ecuadorian Serie A side, Emelec, on a one-year loan with the option to buy. [8]

The 2020–21 Club Atlético Boca Juniors season is the 92nd consecutive Primera División season for the senior squad. It is an unusual season, due to the suspension of all competitions in March 2020. The season won't have Primera Division tournament, instead, it will be played the 2020 Copa de la Liga Profesional from October 2020 to January 2021, a cup that was conceived as a contingency competition after the schedule for a regular league season had been repeatedly delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The second competition will be another national cup, the 2021 Copa de la Liga Profesional, from February to May 2021. Boca Juniors also took part in the Copa Argentina where they also won the competition, as well as competing in the Group stage and Final stages of the 2020 Copa Libertadores and in the Group stage of the 2021 Copa Libertadores.
