Lucy Mulenkei (born 15 January 1958) is a Kenyan activist and journalist. [1]

Education

Lucy graduated in Gender and Development Studies from the University of Nairobi. Afterwards, she obtained an MA in Sociology, Project Management and Rural development from Egerton University [2] and Project Management from Kenya Institute of Management. [3]

Career

She is a co-founder of the Indigenous Women's Biodiversity Network (IWBN), the president of African Indigenous Women’s Organization (AIWO), an active member of the International Indigenous Forum on Biodiversity (IIFB) and the vice president International Forum of Indigenous Women (FIMI). [4]

She is also the executive director of the Indigenous Information Network (IIN). [2]
