Luis Octavio Natera (born March 22,1966) is a Dominican professional baseball coach. He was the assistant hitting coach for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball through the 2014 season.
Natera is from San Pedro de Macorís. [1] He played in Minor League Baseball as a member of the Mets' organization from 1984 through 1988. He has worked for the Mets organization since 1990. Since 2007,he served as the hitting coach for the Binghamton Mets of the Class AA Eastern League. In 2014,the Mets promoted him to their major league staff. [2] After the season,he was reassigned within the organization and was replaced by Pat Roessler in 2015.
Natera's son played for the Dominican Summer League Mets in 2010. [1]
Felipe Rojas Alou is a Dominican former Major League Baseball outfielder,first baseman,coach and manager. He managed the Montreal Expos (1992–2001) and the San Francisco Giants (2003–2006). The first Dominican to play regularly in the major leagues,he is the most prominent member of one of the sport's most notable families of the late 20th century:he was the oldest of the trio of baseball-playing brothers that included Matty and Jesús,who were both primarily outfielders,and his son Moisés was also primarily an outfielder;all but Jesús have been named All-Stars at least twice. His son Luis,in turn,managed the New York Mets.
Eric Cesar Chavez is an American professional baseball coach and former third baseman. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Oakland Athletics (1998–2010),New York Yankees (2011–2012),and Arizona Diamondbacks (2013–2014). During his playing career,Chavez won six Gold Glove Awards (2001–2006) and a Silver Slugger Award (2002). Chavez served as the hitting coach for the New York Mets in 2022 and presently is in the position of bench coach.
Christopher Michael Woodward is an American former professional baseball utility player,coach and manager. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Toronto Blue Jays,New York Mets,Atlanta Braves,Seattle Mariners,and Boston Red Sox,from 1999 through 2012. He then served as a coach for the Mariners and Los Angeles Dodgers,from 2014 through 2018 and managed the Texas Rangers from 2019 to 2022. He is currently a special assistant and roving instructor for the Dodgers.

A three-time National League (NL) All-Star,he appeared in the 1983 World Series with the Philadelphia Phillies. Samuel served as interim manager for the Baltimore Orioles during the 2010 MLB season,as well as many years in MLB coaching ranks. Known widely for his unique combination of speed and power,Samuel was inducted into the Hispanic Heritage Baseball Museum Hall of Fame,in 2010.

He played as a catcher for the San Francisco Giants,Detroit Tigers,Milwaukee Brewers,St. Louis Cardinals,Minnesota Twins,Boston Red Sox and Texas Rangers in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1996 through 2002. After retiring as a player,Jensen coached and managed in the minor leagues. Since 2015,he has served as a coach for the Oakland Athletics of MLB.
Ronny Leonel Paulino is a Dominican former professional baseball catcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates,Florida Marlins,New York Mets and Baltimore Orioles. He is currently the bench coach and hitting coach for the Tulsa Drillers in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization.
Ramón David Santiago Sanchez is a Dominican-American former professional baseball player,and minor league coach for the Detroit Tigers. Santiago played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as an infielder for the Detroit Tigers from 2002 to 2003,the Seattle Mariners from 2004 to 2005,again with the Tigers from 2006 to 2013 and with the Cincinnati Reds in 2014. He spent most of his major league career at shortstop,but also played a significant amount of time at second base,and occasionally third base. He is the only MLB player in history to hit a grand slam in his last at bat with a walk-off home run. He accomplished this feat playing with the Cincinnati Reds with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning on September 27,2014,on a 1–0 pitch from the Pittsburgh Pirates' Bobby LaFromboise.
