Luke Basso is an American college football long snapper for the Oregon Ducks.
Basso attended Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Coming out of high school, he was rated as a five-star long snapper, where he committed to play college football for the Oregon Ducks, joining the team as a preferred walk-on. [1]
As a freshman in 2021, Basso did not appear in any games and used the season to redshirt. [2] In the 2022 season, he rotated as the team's long snapper, playing in ten games. [3] During the 2023 season, Basso took over as the team's full time long snapper, playing in all 14 games. [4] In 2024, he retained his starting snapper spot, playing in all 14 games. [5] [6] For his performance during the 2025 season, Basso accepted an invite to participate in the 2026 Senior Bowl. [7]
