Lukman Olawale Shobowale (born May 29, 1994) is a Nigerian Writer and Businessman. He is the co-founder and CEO Dukiya Investments. [1]

Biography

Lukman is the founder of Dukiya Investments Limited, a Lagos-based real estate development and construction firm. [2] [3] [4] He is an author and also serves as the head of Business Development at Dukiya Investments LTD. Lukman is known for real estate, business, writing, and leadership. [5] [6] He advocates for the use of real estate to build wealth for future generations. [4] [7] During his undergraduate degree in History and International Studies at the University of Ilorin, he served as the President of the Student Union for the 2016/2017 academic year. [8] Lukman won the 2023 Entrepreneur Awards in 2023 by The Future Awards Africa. [9] Lukman is a volunteer who also engages in philanthropic activities. [10] [11]

Education

Lukman is an alumnus of the University of Ilorin, where he studied History and International Studies for his Bachelor of Art Degree before proceeding to Ajayi Crowther University for a Masters in Business Administration in 2021. [12] He also went further to the Lagos Business School for Owner Managers Programme. [12] [13] He had an executive programs at Rome Business School in 2023 and London Business School in 2024. [14]

University of Ilorin, also known as Unilorin, is a federal government-owned university in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. The university sits on an expansive area of land, about 15,000 hectares in the ancient city of Ilorin; making it the largest university in Nigeria and one of the largest in Africa by landmass. The university comprises 17 faculties and over 100 academic departments. It was established by a decree of the federal military government in August, 1975. The establishment aimed to implement one of the educational directives of the Third National Development Plan, which was aimed at providing more opportunities for Nigerians aspiring to acquire university education and to generate high-level manpower, which is vital for the rapidly expanding economy. Compared to other higher institutions of learning in the country, the institution has one of the largest land areas, covering approximately 15,000 hectares of land. It is reported by Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) to be the most sought-after Nigerian university in 2021.
