Lydia Achebe is a Nigerian actress, lawyer, model, and former beauty queen. She is known for her roles in the television series The Johnsons and My Flatmates, as well as films including Divorce Scheme (2020) and Grip (2022). Achebe has also worked as a fashion and commercial model, appearing in campaigns for brands such as Chivita, Glo, and Darling Hair Nigeria.[1][2]
Achebe studied law at Igbinedion University, Okada and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2018.[1] She later trained at the Royal Arts Academy Film School in Lagos before beginning her acting career in 2020. Her performance in Divorce Scheme, directed by Chidox and produced by Uche Mbunabo, brought her wider recognition in Nollywood.[2]
In addition to acting, Achebe has won several beauty pageant titles, including The Nigerian Princess (2018) and Face of Beauty Nigeria Miss Photogenic (2020). She was also a finalist in the Miss Nigeria 2019 competition, representing Anambra State.[1]
