Lydia Miladinovic (born 1951), is an Australian pioneer representative rower. With Evelyn Adams she rowed in Australia's first international representative women's crew. A five-time Australian national champion, accomplished as both a sculler and sweep-oarswoman, Miladinovic made her sole international representative appearance for Australia at the 1974 World Rowing Championships.
Miladinovic's senior club rowing was from the Sydney Women's Rowing Club at a time when there was nil integration and little co-operation with the nearby men's Sydney Rowing Club boatshed and clubhouse. When she took up Master's Rowing in the late 1980s she rowed in Glebe Rowing Club colours.
She began contesting national titles at Australian Rowing Championships from 1968 [1] and took the silver medal in the Women's Senior Pair at the 1969 Australian Championships. [2] She won the gold and a national championship title in a coxless pair with Tricia Hennesy in 1973, [3] and then in the pair with Evelyn Adams in 1974. [4] In 1975 she raced the coxless pair with Libby Hollingworth and then in 1977 in a SWRC coxed quad scull. They won a national title in 1977 [5] and took the silver in a coxless quad in 1978. [6]
Miladinovic was first honoured with New South Wales state selection in 1969 when she was picked to contest the Victoria Cup for lightweight women's fours at the annual Interstate Regatta within the Australian Rowing Championships. That crew was victorious. [7] In 1974 she stroked to victory the NSW openweight women's four contesting the ULVA Trophy. [8] She made another ULVA Trophy appearance for New South Wales in 1976 for a second placing. [9]
In 1974 the NSW state championships were regarded as the unofficial selection trial for the 1974 World Rowing Championships. Miladonivic had won the national title in the pair in 1973 and then joined up with Adams to go back to back in 1974. They were selected to race at the 1974 World Championships in Lucerne which included the first ever world title events for women. They finished fourth in their heat, lest in their repechage but raced the B final for an overall eleventh-place finish. [10]
The Australian Rowing Championships is an annual rowing event that determines Australia's national rowing champions and facilitates selection of Australian representative crews for World Championships and the Olympic Games. It is Australia's premier regatta, with states, clubs and schools sending their best crews. The Championships commence with the National Regatta - men's, women's and lightweight events in open, under 23, under 19, under 17 and school age events. Rowers at the National Regatta race in their local club colours with composite crews permitted. The Championships conclude with the Interstate Regatta - currently eight events competed by state representative crews or scullers selected by the state rowing associations. The states compete for an overall points tally which decides the Zurich Cup.
Marina Ann Hatzakis is an Australian former rower - a dual Olympian who represented at world championships between 1993 and 2000.
Bronwyn Roye is an Australian former rower. She is a six-time national champion, a medalist at World Championships and a dual Olympian who raced in two Australian sculling events at the 1996 Summer Olympics.
Paul Anthony Thompson MBE is an Australian elite level rowing coach and former rower. As a rower he was an Australian under-age champion, won a silver medal at the 1985 U23 World Championships and rowed in senior King's Cup eights for both South Australia and New South Wales. He has coached Australian and British crews to World Championship titles and Olympic medals including taking Kate Slatter and Megan Still to Australia's first women's Olympic rowing gold at Atlanta 1996. By 2012 he was Great Britain's head coach for women and lightweights and took British crews to three gold and two silver medals at London 2012. Since 2022 he has been Rowing Australia's High Performance Director.
Eliza Blair is an Australian architect and former representative rower. She was a national champion, a 1997 world champion and the standing world record holder in the women's lightweight coxless pair.
Sonia Mills is an Australian former rower – an Australian national champion, world champion and an Olympian. She had world championship success in both sculls and in sweep-oared boat classes. She competed in the women's double sculls event at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Anna Ozolins is an Australian former rower. She is a four-time national champion and an Australian representative oarswoman who won a bronze medal at the 1994 World Rowing Championships. She was the stroke of the Australian women's heavyweight eight from 1994 to 1995 and from 1998 to 1999.
Malcolm Campbell Shaw was a New Zealand-born, Australian representative rower. He competed for Australia at the 1972 Summer Olympics and the 1976 Summer Olympics.

Jennifer Luff is an Australian former representative rower. In a nine year career at the elite level between 1988 and 1996 she won sixteen Australian national titles, raced for Australia at five World Rowing Championships and competed at the 1992 and the 1996 Summer Olympics. In 1990 and 1992 she won the full set of all three open women's sculling boat titles at the Australian Rowing Championships and mirrored that feat in 1995 when she won all three possible open women's titles in sweep-oared boats.

Evelyn Adams née Gardiner and later Sommer, is an Australian pioneer representative rower. With Lydia Miladinovic she rowed in Australia's first international representative women's crew. A ten-time Australian national champion, accomplished as both a sculler and sweep-oarswoman, Adams' two World Rowing Championship appearances were made as a heavyweight whilst four of her Australian championship titles were achieved in the lightweight division. She represented at the 1974 World Rowing Championships and 1978 World Rowing Championships.
