The Bangladesh Nationalist Party is a major political party in Bangladesh. Founded on 1 September 1978 by Bangladeshi president Ziaur Rahman with a view of uniting people with a nationalist ideology,BNP later became one of the two dominant parties in Bangladesh,along with its archrival Awami League. Initially a big tent centrist party,it later moved towards more right-wing politics.
The Jatiya Party (Bengali:জাতীয়পার্টি,romanized: Jatiyo Party,lit. 'National Party';JaPa or JP(E)) is a political party in Bangladesh. The current chairman of the party is Ghulam Muhammed Quader. Bangladesh–Bhutan relations are the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Bhutan. The King of Bhutan was the first world leader to announce official recognition of Bangladesh's independence on 6 December 1971. The leadership of both countries have since exchanged many state visits. In 2016,the President of Bangladesh addressed the Parliament of Bhutan. On 6 December 2020,both countries signed a Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) with provisions for free trade in certain goods. The signing of the PTA was witnessed by the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the Prime Minister of Bhutan.

Chowdhury is a title of honour,usually hereditary,originating from the Indian subcontinent. It is an adaption from Sanskrit. During the Mughal rule,it was a title awarded to eminent people,while during British rule,the term was associated with zamindars and social leaders. The common female equivalent was Chowdhurani.
S.H.M.B Noor Chowdhury is a Bangladesh army officer who was convicted for the assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,president of Bangladesh,and for involvement in the murder of four national leaders in the Jail Killing. As of 2017,he was a fugitive,residing in Canada. The Canadian government has refused to extradite him,because he faces the death penalty in Bangladesh.
The High Commission of Bangladesh in Islamabad is the chief diplomatic mission of Bangladesh to Pakistan. It is located in Sector F-6 of Islamabad. The present Bangladeshi High Commissioner to Pakistan is Md. Ruhul Alam Siddique,who assumed diplomatic duties in October 2020. Bangladesh also has a Deputy High Commission in Karachi,and an honorary consul in Lahore.

He is the former ambassador of Bangladesh to Switzerland. He is the former High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Australia. He served as the ambassador of Bangladesh to New Zealand and Fiji. He is the former High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Sri Lanka.
