M. S. Prabhu is an Indian cinematographer who works mainly in the Tamil film industry. He started his career as an assistant to P. C. Sreeram before starting as an independent cinematographer. [1]

He entered the spotlight for the first time when he turned director with the summer hit Chennai 600028 (2007). Anand won the National Film Award for Best Cinematography for his debut film as a cinematographer, Thenmavin Kombath. In 2005, Anand turned film director with the critically acclaimed Kana Kandaen. Polladhavan is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Vetrimaran in his directorial debut. Starring Dhanush and Divya Spandana, the film revolves around a man whose life improves after buying a bike, and turns upside down after it is stolen. Three songs and the background score were composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, while Yogi B and Dhina composed each one song. Velraj was the director of cinematography, V. T. Vijayan edited the film and Rambo Rajkumar choreographed the stunts. The film was released on 8 November 2007. Receiving a tremendously positive response, it popularized the Bajaj Pulsar among the youth. The film was remade in a number of languages, owing to its success.

Villu is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written by AC Mugil and directed by Prabhu Deva. The film stars Vijay in a dual role while Nayanthara, Prakash Raj and Vadivelu play other prominent roles. Manoj K. Jayan, Devaraj, Anandaraj, Sriman plays the supporting roles whilst Prabhu Deva, Mumaith Khan, Zabyn Khan, and Khushbu appear in item numbers. Udhayam NH4 is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by debutant Manimaran, a former associate of Vetrimaaran. The film stars Siddharth and newcomer Ashrita Shetty. Vetrimaaran wrote the script, did the screenplay, and penned the dialogues for this film. The story takes place in Bangalore, Karnataka. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by G. Shanmugam Saravanan is an Indian cinematographer and film director who works mainly in the Indian film industry. He is an alumnus of the M.G.R. Government Film and Television Training Institute. He started his career with Poove Unakkaga, a Tamil romantic film starring Vijay and Sangita and was released in the year 1996. He debuted as a director by his directorial venture Silambattam. Saravanan is well known for his association with Directors Vikraman and Suresh Krissna. He has worked as a cinematographer in more than 25 films in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
