MC Entertainment was a Russian distributor of anime and films from Japan, United States, Germany, Great Britain, China, Thailand and South Korea. [2] The company, headed by Dmitry Fedotkin, [3] was founded in 2000. As of 2007, it is the largest anime company in Russia. It is also the first Russian company aimed exclusively at the anime market. MC Entertainment was one of the founders of AnimeGid magazine, as well as Moscow Anime Festival and anime*magazine sponsor. [2] [4]
Until 2006 MC Entertainment did not have any rivalries, becoming a monopolist on Russian anime market. In the beginning of 2006 its first competitor XL Media appeared, later was founded other anime companies Mega-Anime and Reanimedia. [5]
A.D. Vision Holdings, Inc. was an American multimedia entertainment distributor headquartered in Houston, Texas, and founded in 1992 by video game fan John Ledford and anime fans Matt Greenfield and David Williams. The company specialized in home video production and distribution, theatrical film distribution, merchandising, original productions, magazine and comic book publishing. They also ran Anime Network, a television channel devoted to airing the company's titles. Some of their titles were Neon Genesis Evangelion, Super Dimension Fortress Macross, RahXephon, Full Metal Panic, Azumanga Daioh, Elfen Lied, Gantz, Red Garden, and Le Chevalier D'Eon.

Peace Maker Kurogane is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated created by Nanae Chrono. It is unrelated to the Peace Maker manga by Ryōji Minagawa. 4Kids Entertainment, Inc. was an American licensing company. The company was previously also a film and television production company that produced English-dubbed Japanese anime through its subsidiary 4Kids Productions between 1992 and 2012; it specialized in the acquisition, production and licensing of children's entertainment around the United States. The first anime that 4Kids Productions dubbed was the first eight seasons of Pokémon that originally began airing in first run syndication, and then it later moved to exclusively air on Kids' WB! in the United States. The company is most well known for its range of television licenses, which has included the multibillion-dollar Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! Japanese anime franchises. They also ran two program blocks: Toonzai on The CW, and 4Kids TV on Fox, both aimed at children. Sakura Press was a Russian licensor and publisher of manga with headquarters in Moscow. The company was established in 2003. It was headed by general director Sergei Kharlamov. According to their official website, it was the first Russian company who started to publish manga. The first two volumes of Ranma ½ were released in April 2005. Sakura Press reversed the pages in all releases, for which it was criticized by fandom. It stopped publishing manga and updating their site in 2011 and became officially defunct in 2016.
