MENA ICT Forum is a biennial Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional information and communication technology (ICT) industry event, held in Jordan under patronage of King Abdullah II.
The current format is an expansion from the former Jordan ICT Forum held in 2002, 2004, and 2006.
MENA ICT Forum was established to showcase the MENA region's ICT activities, focusing on industry trends, opportunities, and future outlook.

Jordan has a highly developed communications infrastructure. Jordan's telecom infrastructure is growing at a very rapid pace and continually being updated and expanded. Communications in Jordan occur across many media, including telephone, radio, television, and internet.
The World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) was a two-phase United Nations-sponsored summit on information, communication and, in broad terms, the information society that took place in 2003 in Geneva and in 2005 in Tunis. WSIS Forums have taken place periodically since then. One of the Summit's chief aims is to bridge the global digital divide separating rich countries from poor countries by increasing internet accessibility in the developing world. The conferences established 17 May as World Information Society Day.
The United Nations Information and Communication Technologies Task Force was a multi-stakeholder initiative associated with the United Nations which is "intended to lend a truly global dimension to the multitude of efforts to bridge the global digital divide, foster digital opportunity and thus firmly put ICT at the service of development for all".

He is the chief executive officer of Tomoh Advisory, based in Dubai, UAE and serves as a member of the board of directors of Al Baraka Banking Group in Bahrain. In 2006 Awadallah was appointed as the director of the Office of King Abdullah II and was appointed chief of the Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan in 2007.

Global Thinkers Forum (GTF) is a non-profit, London-based organisation and was incubated at Oxford University's Said Business School in 2011. It was created to "help our societies and leaders navigate a very complex world". GTF launched in 2012 in Amman, Jordan.
