MR.DIY Thailand is the Thai subsidiary of home improvement retailer MR.DIY. [4] There are 602 MR.DIY stores in operation in Thailand as of March 2023. [5] [6] [7]
The first store opened in 2016 at SeaconBangkae. MR.DIY celebrated the 500th store at Lotus's Bangkapi in 2022. [8] [9] [10]
MR.DIY Thailand joined forces with Ayutthaya City Park by donating funds for medical equipment for the Ayutthaya Hospital. [11] They also teamed up with the Thai Red Cross Society to fight against COVID-19 by providing masks and alcohol gel. [12] [13] They distributed face shields to 3 major retailers in order to promote basic self-prevention and lessen the risk of COVID-19 infection.
With the help from the Thai Red Cross Society once again, MR.DIY Thailand organized the 1st “One drop of blood, saves one life” among its employees as an action taken from the lessening number of blood in the inventory due to COVID-19. [14] MR.DIY Thailand donated essential and educational equipment to children at Ban Huay Nok Lae, Tak province for its 2nd CSR activity under the name of “Giving Kindness to Children”. [15]
MR.DIY supports the fight against COVID-19 by donating 5,500,000 baht worth of medical and essential equipment including electric beds, PPE kits, KN95 masks, N95 masks and COVID-19 test kits to Police Hospital Foundation and Phayao Hospital. [16] [17] The company delivered various aids, necessities and funds worth 9 million baht to hospitals in Bangkok and its vicinity as a support to doctors and teams involved in fighting COVID-19. [18] MR.DIY delivered PPE kits, rice, drinking water and necessities worth 120,000 baht to the Samut Prakan Province community. [19] [20]
MR.DIY Thailand distributed a set of necessary equipment such as hand sanitizer gel, PPE kits, masks, face shields, Lianhua medicine etc. to the Chiang Mai communities. [21]
MR.DIY Thailand, donated meals, funds and necessary supplies with 60,000 baht for children to Baan Tantawan, Foundation for Children in Nakhon Pathom province. [22] [23] MR.DIY Thailand joined hands with the Thai Red Cross Society to donate food, drinking water and essential items worth 100,000 baht to help flood victims across the region. MR.DIY Thailand also donated 100,000 baht to the Thai Red Cross Society to help those affected in the winter season. [24] [25] [26]
During the COVID-19 outbreak, MR.DIY notably contributed 3,000 boxes of COVID-19 testing kits to the Phaya Thai Babies Home. [27] MR.DIY held its 3rd “Giving Kindness to Children” project at SOS Children's Villages Bangpoo and PhayaThai Babies Home by delivering a good quality of life for underprivileged children and bring awareness of “Back To School” campaign to ease the burden of school expenses. MR.DIY is also notable as a supporter of Father Ray Day Care Center and The Redemptorist Foundation for People with Disabilities with a total value of 75,000 Baht of meals, learning materials and funds. [31] [32]

MR.DIY has been awarded the Frost & Sullivan Award in the category of Industry Leadership home decoration accessories retailer for the first time in 2020. Based on the Japanese manga series Hana Yori Dango by Yoko Kamio. Directed by Patha Thongpan and produced by GMMTV along with Parbdee Taweesuk, the series was first announced by GMMTV during "New & Next" event on 15 October, 2019.

She rose to prominence nationally with her debut single "Phak Kon" (พักก่อน), which was released in February 2020. It was followed by another successful single "Sud Pang" (สุดปัง) later that year. Miss Grand Thailand 2022 is the ninth edition of the Miss Grand Thailand beauty contest, held on 30 April 2022 at Show DC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The coronation was initially scheduled in August 2021, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was rescheduled twice, first in late-2021, and later to 2022. At the end of the event, the appointed Miss Grand Thailand 2021, Indy Johnson of Pathum Thani, crowned her successor, Engfa Waraha of Bangkok, a former contestant on the 2018/2019 The Voice Thailand, making her the first representative of the capital city to win the title. Engfa represented the country at Miss Grand International 2022, where she placed as 1st Runner-Up.
Miss Grand Thailand 2023 was the 10th edition of the Miss Grand Thailand pageant, held at Show DC Hall in Bangkok on 29 April 2023, while the initial pageant activities was decided to be done in the province of Chiang Mai. Engfa Waraha of Bangkok crowned Thaweeporn Phingchamrat of Chumphon at the end of the event. She will represent Thailand at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam.
BNK48: Girls Don't Cry Is a Thai documentary film about the first generation members of the all girl Thai idol group BNK48 from before the band's debut until after it gained fame. This film was directed by Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit, produced by iAM Fillms and Salmon House, and distributed by GDH 559. The film had its media screening event on August 14, 2018, at Paragon Cineplex Siam Paragon Shopping Center And was scheduled to be released generally after two days.
The United Thai Nation Party is a major Thai political party registered on 31 March 2021 by Seksakon Atthawong, former Deputy Minister to Prayut Chan-o-cha. In the run-up to the 2023 general election, then Prime-minister Prayut Chan-o-cha joined the party in 9 January 2023 as its candidate for Prime-minister. The party emerged as the fifth largest party in Thailand, winning 36 seats in the House of Representatives and 12.55% of the vote. The party has been characterized as being conservative, and both pro-military and pro-monarchist.
