North Macedonia, officially the Republic of North Macedonia, is a country in Southeast Europe. It gained independence in 1991 as one of the successor states of Yugoslavia. "Dona" is a song performed by Macedonian singer-songwriter Kaliopi. The song represented Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. The song was written by Kaliopi and Romeo Grill. The official music video for the song was released on 7 March 2016. It was released as a digital download on 21 March 2016 via Kaliopi Music Production. It came 11th in the second semi-final, narrowly missing out on a place in the final.
