MV Baltic Enterprise

M/V Baltic Enterprise (also known as M/V Lipa) is a Ro-Ro Container ship built in Rauma Repola shipyard-Finland, delivered in March 1973 for the United Baltic Corporation. Her Dimensions are 137,50 x 22,36 x 6,64 m, dwt: 5710. She was a new type of Ro-Ro vessel, with passenger cabins, the crew had dedicated accommodation which was built to Scandinavian standards which was luxurious compared to British built ships of the time (she even had a sauna). She had two Stork Werkspoor engines of 7700 KW

On her first service she did a run between Hull and either Helsinki-Kotka or Turku-Mäntyluoto on a Ro-Ro service, usually returning with paper products. In 1978, she also operated out of Felixstowe

In 1983 she was sold to Losinjska Plovidba, Brodarstvo from Rijeka, Croatia, the name was changed to M/V Lipa.

Fiume is the principal seaport and the third-largest city in Croatia. It is located in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County on Kvarner Bay, an inlet of the Adriatic Sea and has a population of 128,624 inhabitants. From 1997- feb 1999 operated by Valfracht (Malta) on the line Tilbury-Antwerp-Amsterdam-Tunis-Valletta-Tripoli-Lattakia-Beirut-Limassol-Mersin.

From 1.3.1999 on the container line between Rijeka-Ploče-Malta-Gioia Tauro, then after added calls to Bar and Koper.

Her last service was between Mrseille and Algier

In summer 2008 she was sold as scrapped metal. Alang, India, was her last port.

Super Runner is a fast ferry owned and operated by Golden Star Ferries. She was built in 1999 at Fincantieri, Riva Trigoso, Italy, for Sea Containers Ltd, but entered service only in 2000 for Sea Container's subsidiary Silja Line. In 2006 she was transferred to another Sea Containers subsidiary, SuperSeaCat. In 2009 she began service with Aegean Speed Lines between Piraeus, Serifos, Sifnos, Milos, Kimolos, Folegandros and Sikinos, as well as Paros and Naxos. In 2016, she was sold to her current owners.

MS <i>Arberia</i>

MS Arberia is a cruiseferry owned by Chryses Finance Co. and operated by Ilion Lines on their Trieste–Durres–Bari -service. She was built in 1975 by Dubegion-Normandie S.A., Nantes, France for Steamship Company Bore, Finland as MS Bore Star for Steamship Company Bore who used her in Silja Line services on the Baltic Sea. During the northern hemisphere winter months she was chartered to Finnlines for cruise services on African west coast. In 1980 she was sold to Finland Steamship Company and renamed MS Silja Star but retained in Silja Line service. Between 1986 and 1992 she was used in different cruise and ferry services around the world for various operators under the names MS Orient Express, MS Club Sea, MS Eurosun and MS Orient Sun. In 1992 her ownership passed to Wasa Line and she was renamed MS Wasa Queen for Baltic Sea ferry service. In 1993 Wasa Line was merged into Silja Line and Wasa Queen returned to the Silja Line fleet. In 2001 she was sold to Star Cruises for use in Far Eastern ferry service and later casino cruising with their daughter company Cruise Ferries without a change in name. In 2008 Wasa Queen was withdrawn from service, and in 2009 sold to her current owners.

<i>Saga Ruby</i> cruise ship

MS Saga Ruby was a cruise ship that was last operated by Saga Cruises. She was built as the combined ocean liner/cruise ship Vistafjord in 1973 by Swan Hunter Shipbuilders in the United Kingdom for the Norwegian America Line. In 1983 she was sold to Cunard Line, retaining her original name until 1999 when she was renamed Caronia. In 2004 she was sold to Saga and sailed as Saga Ruby until sold in 2014 for use as a floating hotel and renamed Oasia. This never came to fruition. Her owners went bankrupt, and in April 2017 she arrived at Alang for scrapping.

MS <i>Stena Superfast VIII</i>

MS Stena Superfast VIII is a fast Ro-Pax ferry owned and operated by Stena Line between Belfast and Cairnryan. The ship was built in 2001 by Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft (HDW), Kiel, Germany for Attica Group's subsidiary Superfast Ferries. She was sold to her current owners in 2017.

MS <i>Moondance</i>

MS Sevenhill is a ro-ro freight ferry built in 1978. It is a sister ship to Riverdance. She was probably best known for its time at Seatruck Ferries, named Moondance. The vessel was originally built for Emadala Shipping.

MS <i>Clipper Ranger</i> ferry

MS Clipper Ranger is a freight ferry built in 1998, which was in service with Seatruck Ferries on the Heysham–Belfast route until the latter half of 2012. In September 2013, she was chartered to Caledonian MacBrayne for the freight service between Ullapool and Stornoway.

MS <i>Golden Princess</i> casino cruise ship

MS Golden Princess was a casino cruise ship owned by Eurasia International, operated on short casino cruises out of Hong Kong. She was built in 1967 by the Wärtsilä Hietalahti shipyard in Helsinki, Finland as Finlandia for the Finland Steamship Company. In 1975 she was sold to Finnlines, who converted her into the cruise ship Finnstar in 1978. In 1982 she entered service for Pearl Cruises as Pearl of Scandinavia. In 1988 she was renamed Ocean Pearl. In 1994 she entered service with Croisières Paquet as Pearl. Between 1995 and 1998 she sailed for Costa Cruises as Costa Playa. In 1998-1999 she sailed as Oriental Pearl for Mega Wave International, and in 1999-2000 as Joy Wave for Costa Cruises. In 2000 she was sold to Eurasia International and entered service under the name Golden Princess . In 2009 she was sold for scrap to China.

SS <i>Antares</i> (T-AKR-294)

SS Antares is an Algol class vehicle cargo ship that is currently maintained by the United States Maritime Administration as part of the Military Sealift Command's Ready Reserve Force (RRF). She was built as a high speed container ship by A.G. Weser in Bremen, West Germany, hull no. 1382, for Sea-Land Service, Inc. Baptized in Bremerhaven by Helga Wedekind, the ship was named SS Sea-Land Galloway, USCG ON 542200, IMO 7226897. Due to her high operating cost, she was sold to the United States Navy on 16 April 1982 as USNS Antares (T-AK-294).

MS <i>Arrow</i> Ro-Ro ferry built in 1998

MS Arrow is a 7,606 GT Ro-Ro ferry built by Astilleros de Huelva SA, Huelva, Spain in 1998 as Varbola for the Estonian Shipping Company, Tallinn. During a charter to Dart Line she was renamed Dart 6, reverting to Varbola when the charter ended. In 2005, she was sold to Malta and renamed RR Arrow. In 2007, she was sold to Seatruck Ferries, Heysham and renamed Arrow. On 28 April 2014 Arrow began operating for the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company on a three-year charter. During the summer of 2014, while not required in Steam Packet Company service, the vessel was temporarily sub-chartered to operate between Jersey and Portsmouth (England). She resumed services in the Irish sea in the winter.

MV <i>Muirneag</i> cargo ferry

MV Muirneag is a ro-ro freight ferry, built in 1979 as MV Mercandian Carrier. From 1986 to 2002, she was named MV Belard, serving initially across the Irish Sea. From 2002 to 2013, she was chartered by Caledonian MacBrayne on the Stornoway to Ullapool freight crossing, until she was replaced by Clipper Ranger.

MV <i>Peveril</i> (1963)

MV Peveril was a coastal cargo vessel operated by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company. Peveril, the third ship in the Company's history to bear the name, was built by Ailsa Shipbuilding Company at Troon, Scotland, in 1964.

Vortigern was a 4,797 GRT combined train and RO-RO ferry which was built by Swan Hunter in 1969 for the British Railways Board. She was sold to Greece in 1988 and served until 2004 under the names Milos Express, Express Milos and Nisos Lemnos. She was renamed Limnos in 2004 and reflagged to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Limnos was scrapped in 2005.

The MV Al Salmy 4 is a former train ferry, converted to RO-RO/Passenger ferry, owned by SAMC.

Transcontainer I was built in 1968 for SNCF as a combined ro-ro ferry and container ship. She was converted to a train ferry in 1974. The ship was sold in 1991 to a Panamanian company and renamed Nour I. A further sale in 1995 saw her renamed Niobe I. She served until scrapped in India in 2000.
