MV Mayuree Naree is a Thailand-flagged bulk carrier.

On 11 March, 2026, it was hit by two Iranian missiles [2] shortly after passing the Strait of Hormuz. [3] The vessel caught fire and most of the crew abandoned ship. [2] There were 23 people on board at the time of the strike; 20 were rescued and three were reported missing. [4]

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy naval commander, Alireza Tangsiri, posted on social media that the ship was attacked because its crew had “ignored the warnings” from Iran and “ended up getting caught.”
