MS <i>Sea Diamond</i> Cruise ship built in 1984

MS Sea Diamond was a cruise ship operated by Louis Hellenic Cruise Lines. She was built in 1984 by Valmet, Finland for Birka Line as Birka Princess. The ship sank on 5 April 2007, after running aground near the Greek island of Santorini the previous day, leaving two passengers missing and presumed dead.

There has been a community of Greeks in Chile since the sixteenth century. According to official figures there are between 120,000 Chileans of Greek origin. Most reside either in the Santiago area or in the Antofagasta area.

MV <i>Delphin</i>

MV Delphin is a cruise ship owned by the Mauritius-based Vishal Cruises Pvt. Ltd., under charter to the Germany-based Passat Kreuzfahrten. Built 1975 by Oy Wärtsilä Ab Turku Shipyard in Finland and renovated 1986 and 1993 by Lloyd Werft, Bremerhaven, Germany and got converted into a cruise ship, with her bow unloading doors permanently welded. In 1992, while being serviced at Singapore's Singmarine Dockyard, she toppled over when a floating dock sank with her in it. In 1993, she went through renovations at Lloyd-Werft again and got completely modernized and elegantly re-equipped. MV Skorpios I was a Chile-registered cruise ship owned and operated by Cruceros Skorpios. She had simple decorated wood style interior and copper plates covering the hull to avoid ice shocks at the wood structure. Ship is in deteriorating state ashore.

The Ship was built in 1995 in the Skorpios, Chile shipyard under Chilean regulations and international navigation as SOLAS and IMO. It is classified by ABS, Class Nr 951.93.18, A1 ice. It was remodeled in 2012, in his hotel equipment and booths. It has a length of 70 meters, a width of 10 meters and a draft of 3.30 meters, displacing 1,600 tons with International Load Line Certificate and certificate of registration number 2869 of the Directorate General of Maritime Territory of Chile. Its capacity is up to 90 passengers, based on 45 double cabins.

MV <i>Viking Sun</i>

MV Viking Sun is a cruise ship operated by Viking Ocean Cruises. The fourth in a series of 930-passenger cruise ships to be built by Fincantieri for her operator, she was delivered at Fincantieri's shipyard in Ancona, Italy, on 25 September 2017.
