Maan is a part of Pune district close to Pune city, in the state of Maharashtra, India. Parts of the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park Phase 2 & 3 are located in it, which makes it an important region. It is under the administrative control of Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA). Maan was a rural area, but with the establishment of multinational companies and construction of residential high-rises since the noughties, it has developed into an urban center.
Maan is connected by Megapolis Circle station of the metro railway to various parts of Pune. Air-conditioned and ordinary bus services are available for its residents.
Pune, also previously known as Poona, is one of the most important industrial and educational hubs of India, with an estimated population of 6,200,000. Pune Metro is a mass rapid transit system serving the city of Pune, India. The system comprises 3 lines with a combined length of 54.58 km (33.91 mi), of which 12 km (7.5 mi) on two lines are operational as of March 2022. The 16.59 km (10.31 mi) Purple line from PCMC Bhavan to Swargate runs on an elevated viaduct between PCMC Bhavan to Range Hills, from where it goes underground. The Aqua line runs from Vanaz to Ramwadi covering a distance of 14.66 km (9.11 mi) on an elevated viaduct. The 23.33 km (14.50 mi) elevated Line 3 will run from the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in Hinjawadi via Balewadi to Civil Court. All three lines will align at the Civil Court interchange station.

Ma'an is a town in northern Syria, administratively part of the Hama Governorate, located north of Hama. Jaymala Shiledar (21 August 1926 – 8 August 2013) was an Indian Hindustani classical singer and theatre actress. She had appeared in many sangeet nataks where she played various roles. Along with singing for the roles she played, she had also composed music for some. In the career span of over 50 years, she appeared in more than 4500 shows. She was married to co-actor singer Jayaram Shiledar along with whom she established a production banner of "Marathi Rangabhoomi". The pair together is credited for revamping the Marathi music industry. She was presented with Padma Shri award in 2013.
Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority is the planning and development authority for the Pune Metropolitan Region. It was notified in the year 2015 and has a jurisdictional area of 7,256.46 km2 (2,801.73 sq mi) with a population of 7.276 million (approximately), it is the 2nd largest urban unit in Maharashtra.
Blue Ridge is a township built under the new Township Act by Paranjape Schemes. Such townships are also known as Integrated Townships. It is located in Hinjawadi in Pimpri Chinchwad, Maharashtra, India. The township area is approximately 138 acres and was designed to be a self sufficient town with various amenities available inside the town. Citizens started occupying the houses since 2010, and continues to develop itself with newer mid- and high-rise residential towers.
Bhoirwadi is an area located in Hinjawadi Phase-3, Pune, in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is under the jurisdiction of Hinjawadi and Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA). The Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park Phase-3 and International Tech Park are located in this area. Bhoirwadi is well connected and near Balewadi, Baner, Aundh, Pune. Bhoirwadi used to be a village, but now it has been drastically transformed into an affluent, developed area with multinational companies and residential high-rises.
Line 3 of the Pune Metro is the third line of the city's under-construction mass transit network. It will run from Civil Court, Pune to Megapolis Pune in Hinjawadi. The 23.3-km line will be completely elevated and will have 23 stations and will align with the MahaMetro lines at the Civil Court interchange station. The construction will be taken up in two phases, the section between Hinjawadi and Balewadi is expected to be taken up first followed by the section between Balewadi and Civil Court, Shivaji Nagar. A metro car shed will be built in Hinjawadi. The MIDC will provide 55 acres of land in Hinjawadi for setting up a Metro rail depot. On 3 August 2018, PMRDA announced the final bidder for the project — the joint venture Tata Realty-Siemens. and Siemens On 3 October 2018, Tata Realty-Siemens were awarded the contract to execute the project on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer model. The formal concession agreement was signed in September 2019 with the construction expected to begin in March 2020. The project is set to be completed in March 2023.
