The Macedonian Women's Volleyball League is an annual competition for women's volleyball clubs in North Macedonia. It has been held since the 1992/93 season.
14 teams has participated in the 2020/21 championship in the 1st league: Vardar (Skopje), Kisela Voda [1] (Skopje), Strumica, Rabotnichki (Skopje), Nakovski Volley (Strumica), "Universitet" (Tetovo), "Fit-Fan" (Skopje), "Pelister" (Bitola), "Yanta-Forza" (Skopje), "Macedonia-Max" (Strumica), "UGD-Student" (Shtip), "Uskana" (Kichevo), "Victory Will" (Strumitsa), "Bami Kor" (Tetovo). The title was won by "Kisela Voda", which won the final series beating "Vardar" 3-1 (3: 0, 3: 1, 2: 3, 3: 2). 3rd place was taken by "Strumitsa".

Klubi i Futbollit Shkëndija, commonly known as Shkëndija, is a football club based in Tetovo, North Macedonia. Their home stadium is Ecolog Arena and they currently play in the Macedonian First League. In the 2010–11 season of the Macedonian First Football League, the club won its first major championship.

Aerodrom (Macedonian: Аеродром; [ˈaɛrɔdrɔm], meaning Airport or Aerodrome; is the largest in population of the ten municipalities that make up the city of Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
Džordže Arsov is a former mayor of the municipality of Kisela Voda. He was born in 1946 in Strumica, then in SFR Yugoslavia. He finished primary and secondary education in his home town and completed his graduate studies in Skopje. In 1970, he graduated with honors from the faculty of mechanical engineering, St.Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and started to work as a professor at the high school ASUC in Skopje. After four years at ASUC and as a deputy director of the school, he left and started to work in the newly established trading and marketing department of the Metalski Zavod Tito (MZT). Under his management, the department became a leader in its sector and became its own independent organization MZT Commerce, employing approximately 140 people and responsible for over 90% of the revenues of MZT. This trading and marketing organization became an initiator for association of all commercial services of MZT in the process opening many offices in former Yugoslavia as well as in Moscow, Sofia, Frankfurt, Berlin, New York, and 12 other places around the world. MZT Commerce, under Arsov's leadership, also became an exclusive representative of many firms from former Yugoslavia for the Western European, U.S., and Middle Eastern markets. Arsov was the President and managing director of the MZT Commerce until 1991.
RK Vardar 1961 is a professional handball club from Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. Vardar is the most successful handball team in the country, having won fifteen national League titles and sixteen Cup titles. Also, Vardar is the most successful team in the regional SEHA League having won five titles. The team has also won two EHF Champions League titles.
The 2006–07 Macedonian First League was the 15th season of the Macedonian First Football League, the highest football league of Macedonia. The first matches of the season were played on 6 August 2006 and the last on 27 May 2007. Rabotnichki were the defending champions, having won their second title. The 2006-07 champions were Pobeda who had won their second title.

Rasadnik Hall in Skopje is a multi-functional indoor sports arena. It is located in the Municipality of Kisela Voda, Skopje. It has a maximum seating capacity of 1.000-1.500. This hall is used by OK Vardar .In the past it was used by RK Vardar and RK Tineks Prolet.

The 1999–2000 Macedonian Second Football League was the eighth season since its establishment. It began in August 1999 and ended in May 2000. Due to change of the league structure in season 2000–01, the 19 teams was relegated.
The 2017–18 Macedonian First League was the 26th season of the Macedonian First Football League, the highest football league of Macedonia. The fixtures were announced on 25 July 2017. It began on 12 August 2017 and ended on 20 May 2018. Each team will play the other sides four times on home-away basis, for a total of 36 matches. Vardar are the defending champions, having won their tenth title in 2016–17.
The COVID-19 pandemic in North Macedonia was a part of the ongoing worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. The virus was confirmed to have reached North Macedonia in February 2020. The initial contagion in the country was mainly connected with the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy as there are circa 70,000 residents of Italy from North Macedonia and resulted in many people returning to North Macedonia, bringing the virus with them. As of 9 July, over 7,000 cases have been confirmed in the country, due to its second wave caused by family reunions during Eid al-Fitr among the Muslim minority and the overall re-opening of the country to organize the parliamentary elections.
Nevena Georgieva-Dunja was a Macedonian Yugoslav Partisan. She participated in the 1941 Yugoslav communist resistance during World War II. At the age of 16 she was the youngest fighter in the Macedonian partisan units, and she was the first woman to be a Macedonian partisan fighter.
FK Sloboden Skopje, or simply Sloboden, is a football club based in the city of Skopje, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the OFL Kisela Voda, the 4th tier of the Macedonian football pyramid. Since January 2023 the club moved its home ground at the AMS Trubarevo stadium in the settlement of Trubarevo.
