Maddie Hay (born 11 April 1995) is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, playing for Giants Netball.


Hay grew up playing netball and representing New South Wales and Australia at various underage levels. [1] She was a training partner at Giants Netball in 2018/19, though earned her debut in Round 1 of the 2019 season, briefly coming onto the court to replace an injured player. [2] That was her only appearance for the Giants at Super Netball level that season, and she played most of the season for Canberra Giants in the Australian Netball League. [3] Hay was signed by the Giants as a senior player for the 2020 season. [4]

2020 Suncorp Super Netball season Sports season

The 2020 Suncorp Super Netball season was the fourth season of the premier netball league in Australia. The season was originally scheduled to commence on 2 May, though was delayed to 1 August due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The defending premiers, New South Wales Swifts were eliminated in the first week of the finals series by the eventual runners-up West Coast Fever. The premiers were the Melbourne Vixens, who defeated the Fever by two goals in the Grand Final at Nissan Arena in Brisbane.

Melissa (Mel) Bragg is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, playing for the Collingwood Magpies.

GIANTS Netball Academy is an Australian netball team that represents Netball New South Wales in the Australian Netball League. The team was originally formed in 2016 as a partnership between Netball ACT, Netball New South Wales and Giants Netball. Between 2017 and 2019 they played in the ANL as Canberra GIANTS. They were grand finalists in 2018. In 2019, Netball ACT and Giants Netball ended their partnership and the latter relaunched the team as the Giants Netball Academy. Netball ACT subsequently formed a new ANL team, Capital Darters.
