Vangipurapu Venkata Sai Laxman is a former Indian international cricketer and a former cricket commentator and pundit. A right-hand batsman known for his elegant stroke play, Laxman played as a middle-order batsman in Test cricket. Laxman is currently the Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), and the head coach of the India Under-19 and India A teams. Laxman was a member of the Indian team that was one of the joint-winners of the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy, which the title was also shared with Sri Lanka.
Pankaj Roy was an Indian cricketer who played in 43 test matches, including once as captain. He was a right-handed opening batsman, perhaps best known for establishing the world record opening partnership in Test cricket of 413 runs, together with Vinoo Mankad, against New Zealand at Chennai. The record stood until 2008. Roy played for Bengal in domestic matches. In 2000, he was appointed as the Sheriff of Kolkata. He has been honoured with the Padma Shri. His nephew Ambar Roy and son Pranab Roy also played Test cricket for India. He was a student of Vidyasagar College. In 2016, he was posthumously awarded the C. K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest honour conferred by BCCI on a former player.
Srinivasaraghavan Venkataraghavan (, also known as Venkat, is an Indian former international cricketer and umpire. He was a right arm off break bowler and a lower order batter. He captained the Indian cricket team in test cricket and also at the first two ICC Cricket World Cups in 1975 and 1979. He represented Tamil Nadu and South zone in domestic cricket while also playing for Derbyshire in English county cricket from 1973 to 1975.
Dattajirao Krishnarao Gaekwad, known as Datta Gaekwad, is an Indian former cricketer. He appeared in 11 Test matches, toured England in 1952 and 1959 and West Indies in 1952–53. He captained the Indian team in the 1959 tour. As a batsman Gaekwad "possessed a sure defence and delightfully crisp shots especially through the covers". He was also an occasional leg spin bowler. Since May 2016, he has been India's oldest living Test cricketer.
Vijay Laxman Manjrekar was an Indian cricketer who played 55 Tests. He represented several teams in his first-class career. A small man, he was a fine cutter and hooker of the ball. He is the father of Sanjay Manjrekar.
Aavishkar Madhav Salvi is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-arm medium-pace bowler and right-handed batsman. In first-class cricket, he played for Mumbai. His last match for Mumbai was in 2013. He also played for Delhi Daredevils in the IPL.
Madhavi Krishnaji Mantri was an Indian cricketer who played in four Test matches between 1951 and 1955. Born in Nasik, Maharashtra, he was a right-handed opening batsman and specialist wicket-keeper who represented Mumbai. He captained Mumbai to victory in three Ranji Trophy finals: 1951–52, 1955–56 and 1956–57. He captained Associated Cement Company to victory in the Moin-ud-Dowlah Gold Cup Tournament in 1962–63.
Madhavrao Laxmanrao Apte was an Indian cricketer who played in seven Test matches from 1952 to 1953. He was elected to the office of the president of the Cricket Club of India in 1989. He afterwards served as the president of the club's Legend's Club and was the chairman of his family's company, Apte Group. His brother Arvind Apte was also a cricketer. He was a former Sheriff of Mumbai.

Kane Stuart Williamson is a New Zealand cricketer. On 27 February 2023, Williamson became the all-time leading run-scorer for New Zealand in Test cricket. A right-handed batsman and an occasional off spin bowler, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest contemporary batsmen and captains New Zealand has ever produced and greatest batsman ever. He captained New Zealand to victory in the 2021 ICC World Test Championship final.

Mohammad Anamul Haque Bijoy is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He is a wicket-keeper and right-handed batsman. He is the first player to score 1000 runs and most runs in a single List-A tournament.
The Indian national cricket team toured Ceylon in November 1956 and played two internationals against Ceylon. As Ceylon had not then achieved Test status, the internationals are classified as first-class matches. Both games were played at the Paikiasothy Saravanamuttu Stadium in Colombo and ended as draws.

Madhav Gothoskar is an Indian former cricket umpire. In his international umpiring career, he stood in 14 Test matches between 1973 and 1983. He officiated in his only ODI game in 1981. In 2021, Gothoskar was honoured for his contribution to Indian cricket by the Cricket's Foundation.
