Hindi cinema, popularly known as Bollywood and formerly as Bombay cinema, refers to the film industry based in Mumbai, engaged in production of motion pictures in Hindi language. The popular term Bollywood is a portmanteau of "Bombay" and "Hollywood". The industry is a part of the larger Indian cinema, which also includes South Indian cinema and other smaller film industries.
Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan is an Indian actor, film producer, and television personality who works predominantly in Hindi films. The Dakshinapan Shopping Centre is on Gariahat Road, right at the foot of Dhakuria Rail Overbridge in Dhakuria, Kolkata. It is spread over 57,000 sqft area and has 141 shops. Lekh Tandon was an Indian filmmaker and actor. He had directed numerous Bollywood movies and Indian TV Serials. He gained national fame due to success of his directorial ventures Professor, Prince, Ek Baar Kaho and Agar Tum Na Hote. His films Amrapali starring Vyjanthimala and Agar Tum Na Hote with Rajesh Khanna in the lead role are considered as classics. Later after 2000, he had acted in movies such as Swades, Rang De Basanti, Chennai Express and Chaarfutiya Chhokare. He was the brother of Urdu playwright Yograj Tandon.
Jogajog or Yogayog is a novel by Rabindranath Tagore. It was published in book form in 1929. It was first serialised in the magazine Bichitra from Ashwin 1334 to Choitro 1335. In the first two issues the novel was titled Tin Purush. In the third issue in Ogrohayon 1334, Rabindranath changed the name to Jogajog.
Prashanta Nanda is an Indian director, actor and politician from the state of Odisha. He is currently a Member of Parliament at Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament, for Odisha. He had worked predominantly in Odia film industry but also worked in Bengali film industry and Hindi film industry extensively. He was also a former minister in Odisha state.
Ek Nari Do Roop is a 1973 Bollywood crime drama film directed by Madhusudan. The film stars Roopesh Kumar, Nadira and Shatrughan Sinha. The movie has two famous songs; "Tum Samjho To Achha Hai" sung by Kishore Kumar & Asha Bhosle and "Dil Ka Soona Saaz Tarana Dhundega", sung by Mohammed Rafi. The movie is loosely based on the 1959 novel Shock Treatment by James Hadley Chase.
Sonakshi Sinha is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films and series. The daughter of actors and politicians Poonam and Shatrughan Sinha, she has appeared in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list from 2012 to 2017, and in 2019. She is the recipient of several accolades, including one Filmfare Award and two Zee Cine Awards.

The Indian Film & Television Directors' Association (IFTDA) is an entertainment guild that represents the interests of film and television directors in India. It was founded as the Indian Film Directors' Association (IFDA) in 1960, before adopting today's name in 2007 and welcoming television directors into the guild. Ashoke Pandit is the current president, a role that has been held in the past by K.A. Abbas, Madhusudan, Basu Bhattacharya, Ramesh Saigal, Mahesh Kaul, and Mohan Segal.
