The Niels Bohr International Gold Medal is an international engineering award. It has been awarded since 1955 for "outstanding work by an engineer or physicist for the peaceful utilization of atomic energy". The medal is administered by the Danish Society of Engineers (Denmark) in collaboration with the Niels Bohr Institute and the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences. It was awarded 10 times between 1955 and 1982 and again in 2013. The first recipient was Niels Bohr himself who received the medal in connection with his 70th birthday.

Skt. Jørgens Gymnasium (1858–1991) was a Danish high school located in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. It was established in 1858 as Frk. Jessens Forberedelsesskole and changed name to J.V. Jessens Latin- og Realskole in 1889. After yet a name change in 1904 to Henrik Madsens [Latin- og Real]Skole it was taken over by the state in 1919 and changed name to Skt. Jørgens Gymnasium. Girls were admitted from 1950.

The Classen Library, was a public library in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was created from the private book collection of Johan Frederik Classen, at the time of his death in 1792. It was the third largest library in the city, surpassed only by the Royal Danish Library and Copenhagen University Library and existed until 1867 when it was merged with the latter.

The South Campus is one of University of Copenhagen's four campuses in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is situated on Amager just south of Njalsgade, between Ørestad Boulevard and Amager Fælledvej, forming the northernmost part of Ørestad. The Latin Quarter is a neighbourhood in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It is bounded by Nørregade to the west, Vestergade to the south, Vester Voldgade to the east and Nørre Voldgade to the north. The name refers to the Latin language, which was once widely spoken in and around the University, whose historic home is situated on the other side of Nørregade. Most of the student life has now been relocated to four new campuses but the area is still known for its lively atmosphere with an abundance of boutiques, cafés and night clubs.

Frederiksberg Campus is one of the four main campuses of University of Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark. It occupies the former grounds of the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University (KVL) which was merged into the University of Copenhagen in 2007.
