Moheshkhali Island is the main island of Moheshkhali Upazila, in the Cox's Bazar District of Bangladesh. There will be two LNG terminals FSRU and gas pipeline created to ease Bangladesh gas shortage. [1]
Moheshkhali is the only hilly island in Bangladesh. Combined with Kutubdia, another island smaller than itself, Moheshkhali forms the constituency known as Cox's Bazar-2 in Bangladesh Parliament. It is an Upazila (sub-district) under Cox's Bazar District.
মহেশখালী বাংলাদের একমাত্র পাহাড়ি দ্বীপ হিসাবে পরিচিত,, বাংলাদেশের মধ্যে মহেশখালী মিষ্টি পান এর জন্য বিখ্যাত। মহেশখালীতে রয়েছে হিন্দু ধর্মের ঐতিহ্যবাহী আদিনাথ মন্দির। আরো আছে বাংলাদেশের একমাত্র গভীর থেকে গভীরতম জাহাজ বন্দর এবং এই মহেশখালী তিনটি দ্বীপ নিয়ে গঠিত, মূল ভূখণ্ড হচ্ছে গোরকঘাটা পৌর এলাকা, মাতার বাড়ি ও সোনাদিয়া দ্বীপ। আর মহেশখালী উপজেলা ৯ টি ইউনিয়ন এবং একটি পৌরসভা নিয়োগ গঠিত,, এই উপজেলায় ৪ লক্ষদিকের অধিকার মানুষ বসবাস করে।

Cox's Bazar is a district in the Chittagong Division of Bangladesh. It is named after Cox's Bazar town. It is located 150 kilometres (93 mi) south of Chittagong. Cox's Bazar is also known by the names Panowa and Palongkee. The modern Cox's Bazar derives its name from Captain Hiram Cox, an army officer who served in British India. It is one of the fishing ports of Bangladesh, and contains one of the world's longest natural sea beaches.

Also, in 2020, he won the Hafezul Quran Competition organized by Banglavision Television in the month of Ramadan. Hafez Saleh Ahmad Takrim participated in the 42nd King Abdulaziz International Hafezul Quran Competition held in Mecca, Saudi Arabia in 2022, in which 153 Hafez from 111 countries participated. In the fourth category of the competition, Hafez Saleh Ahmad Takrim won the third place and won a prize of 1 lakh riyals. Takrim won the first place in the 26th edition of the Dubai International Quran Competition in 2023.
