Maia Lee (born 31 January 1983) is a Singaporean singer and businesswoman.

Early life

Lee left secondary school at the age of 15. [2]

Career

Lee is part of the local techno trio, The Usual Suspects, who have had three Number 1 hits on the local station WKRZ 91.3 FM: "China Girl", "The Love You Promised", and "Sunburn". "The Love You Promised" has also been released in Japan and Europe, receiving airplay as far as Scandinavia. Famed German dance group Cascada recorded a remix in December 2004.

Lee was 7th-placed in the national talent contest, Singapore Idol in Season 1.

In May 2005, Lee become a celebrity guest interviewer-writer for The New Paper . [3]

In 2018, Lee appeared in Indosiar’s D’Academy Asia. [4]

Lee is a co-founder of the modelling agency, Viva Angels.

<i>Everytime We Touch</i> (album) 2006 studio album by Cascada

Everytime We Touch is the first album by German Eurodance trio Cascada. It was released on 21 February 2006. Recording sessions for the album took place from Autumn 2004 through January 2006, most of which was recorded after the third single from the album "Everytime We Touch" rose to popularity; the final recording session was completed in three weeks. The entire album was produced by Yanou and DJ Manian, containing heavily of up-tempo Eurodance tracks, many of which are covers of hit songs from the 1980s and 1990s of the synthpop, Eurodance, and rock genres. Musically, the album is composed of dance tracks with thick Euro synths, trance beats that clock in at over 140 beats per minute and Europop lyrics. Lyrically, the album is composed of songs about love and dance floor euphoria.

"A Neverending Dream" is a 1996 song by German group X-Perience, released as the second single from their debut album, Magic Fields (1996). It charted in Germany, Hungary and Switzerland and was the band's biggest hit. The song entered the German Singles Chart at number 91, went to number four in October/November 1996, and spent over 18 weeks in the charts. Over 350,000 copies of the singles were sold in Germany and the single was eventually certified Gold. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "A Neverending Dream" peaked at number 29 in December 1996. A music video was also produced to promote the single.

Yann Peifer, known professionally as Yanou, is a German trance and Eurodance musician and producer. He is most famous for collaborating on DJ Sammy's hit "Heaven" with vocalist Do and for being a member of the popular German trance acts Tune Up! with DJ Manian, and Cascada alongside Natalie Horler as well as Manian. Before Yanou worked with Tune Up!, Cascada and DJ Sammy, he produced and wrote tracks for "Beam & Yanou" in the late 1990s.

Perfect Day is the second studio album released by German Eurodance group Cascada. The entire album was produced by the group's two DJs, Yanou and DJ Manian. Like its predecessor, the album is comprised heavily of uptempo Eurodance tracks, many of which are cover songs. This album, however, features covers of songs from the early 2000s of the rock and country genres, with the exception of Because the Night which was released in 1978. Two edited tracks, "Endless Summer" and "I Will Believe It" that were previously recorded under the Siria name are also featured. Musically, the album is composed of Eurodance tracks with euphoric trance-style synths, drum programmings with a tempo over 140 beats per minute, and Europop lyrics. Lyrically, the albums is composed of love, partying and romance.

Konflict, also known under their separate artist names Kemal and Rob Data, were a musical duo that composed drum and bass music, consisting of Kemal Okan and Robert Rodgers. Their music had a strong techno influence, and it was influential in the shaping of the neurofunk subgenre. The majority of their material was released between 1999 and 2002; a period which carried the Anthem status in the Drum and Bass music scene. They released their first work in 1998 under the name Konflict, but after abandoning the name in 2000, they continued to release music as Kemal and Rob Data. After the Konflict period, Kemal also released many solo works as well as collaborations with other drum and bass artists.

He has releases on the worlds top record labels such as Ministry of Sound, Perfecto, Armada, Sony Music & Black Hole Recordings.
