Majma-ul-Uloom Al-Islamia (MUI) is an educational board jointly established by Jamiat-ur-Rasheed and Jamia Binoria. It was founded on 10 May 2021. The board is officially approved by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Recognized education board

This educational institution or education board is recognized both by the Government of Pakistan's Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training as well as the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, the highest governing bodies of education in Pakistan. [5]

Campuses

Majma-ul-Uloom Al-Islamia has its provincial office at the Jamia tur Rasheed Lahore Campus. [6]

Two major Pakistani 'Jamias' (universities) namely Jamiat-ur-Rasheed and Jamia Binoria have jointly established this education board to educate people and award degrees in Arabic language and Islamic Studies. [5]

The Jamia also serves as a center for National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language and National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology.

Jamia Tur Rasheed, Karachi is an Islamic seminary in Karachi, Pakistan. The seminary was established by Rasheed Ahmad Ludhianvi. It is accredited degree awarding institute by Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and the Higher Education Commission. The seminary has 36 departments including "Kulyatush Shariyah". It also runs female schools including "Jamia Umm Habībah lil-Banāt", "Jamia Hafsa lil-Banāt" and "Al-Bairuni Girls Secondary School".

Shaykh-ul-Hadeeth Hazrat Maulana Fida-ur-Rehman Darkhwasti was a Pakistani Islamic scholar, academic and politician. He was the founder of Jamia Anwar-ul-Quran Adam Town North Karachi, former Central Emir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and former Emir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Sindh Province, Emir of Pakistan Shariat Council and Patron of Jamia Makhzan-ul-Uloom Khanpur. He was the son of Abdullah Darkhawasti. He died in Islamabad on 1 January 2020.

Abdul Halim Chishti Nomani was a Pakistani Islamic scholar, librarian, writer and the first PhD in library sciences in Pakistan. He was a disciple of Hussain Ahmad Madani. He was head of the Department of Hadith Studies at Jamia Uloom Islamia and the younger brother of Abdul Rasheed Naumani.

Maulana Anwar-ul-Haq Haqqani is a Pakistani Islamic scholar who is currently serving as the chancellor of Darul Uloom Haqqania, a post he has held since November 2018 after the death of his brother Maulana Samiul Haq. He has also been serving as the central vice-president of Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia, Pakistan, since 8 April 2009.

Sufi Muhammad Sarwar was a Pakistani Islamic scholar, author and Sheikh al-Hadith at Jamia Ashrafia. He studied at Jamia Khair al-Madaris and Jamia Ashrafia.
