Makayla Gerken Schofield (born 4 June 1999) is a British freestyle skier who competes internationally. [1]

She competed in the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2021, where she placed seventeenth in women's moguls, [2] and thirteenth in women's dual moguls. [3]

Gerken Schofield is pansexual [4] and in 2021 helped her sport's governing body GB Snowsport to mark LGBT+ History Month. [5]

In the same season as his first World Cup, he earned a spot on the U.S. Men's Moguls Team at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, making him the youngest American male mogul skier to participate in the Olympics at 18 years of age. McDonald was named World Cup Rookie of the Year in 2022.
