Make Something!!

Make Something!! is an international series of creative workshops for teens founded by Aaron Rose and Stefani Relles. [1] [2] [3] [4] Since its inception in 2008, more than 2,000 high school students have taken part in Make Something!! workshops held in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Portland and Tokyo. Working with public school art programs and youth mentoring organizations, Make Something!! brings together professional artists and aspiring teenagers with the intention of teaching hands-on practical creative skills. Curricula incorporate elements of art, design, music, fashion and film and past teachers include Mike Mills, Todd James, Kaws, Jose Parla, Ed Templeton, Geoff Mcfedtridge, Cheryl Dunn, Money Mark, Scott Campbell and more.

Workshop series have been supported by and held in collaboration with Nike, [7] [8] RVCA, Manifest Equality, the Laforet Museum in Tokyo, and the NADA Art Fair in Miami.

Preston is My Paris

Preston is My Paris Publishing (PPP) is a photography-based project that creates publications, site-specific installations, live events, digital applications, education, writing, talks and workshops. It was started in 2009 by Adam Murray and Robert Parkinson as a photocopied zine with the intention of encouraging the exploration of Preston as a subject for creative practice and to focus more attention on the city. It has been described as "politically and photographically aware", "photographing and publishing a view of a disregarded, ordinary Britain" "in a playful way".

Virgil Abloh American fashion designer and entrepreneur (1980–2021)

Virgil Abloh was an American fashion designer and entrepreneur. He was the artistic director of Louis Vuitton's menswear collection beginning in 2018, and was given increased creative responsibilities across the LVMH brand in early 2021. Abloh was also the chief executive officer of the Milan-based label Off-White, a fashion house he founded in 2013.

SteamHead

SteamHead is a non-profit organization whose stated goal is to "increase the presence of design in education". SteamHead claims inspiration from the Maker movement and S.T.E.A.M. education. Initiatives credited to SteamHead aim to help communities increase their capacity to "make". Activities are supported sponsors including the British Council, local charities, and schools. The organization supports local events including MakeFashion Edu and School Maker Faires.

8-Ball Community is a New York City-based artist collective that operates a zine library, online radio station, and online public-access television station.

Yoon Ahn is a Korean-American fashion designer. She studied graphic design at Boston University and graduated in 1998. She is well known as the creative director of her brand Ambush and as Dior Homme's jewelry design director. Ahn is currently based in Tokyo, Japan.
