Bob Jones University (BJU) is a private, non-denominational evangelical university in Greenville, South Carolina, known for its conservative cultural and religious positions. The university, with approximately 3,155 students, is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. In 2017, the university estimated the number of its graduates at 40,184.

Andrew Steven Turner is an English bodybuilder and retired track and field athlete who specialised in the 110 metres hurdles and occasionally competed in the 100 and 200 metres sprints as well as long jump. At the 110 m hurdles, he is the 2011 World Championship bronze medallist, the 2010 European Champion and the 2010 Commonwealth Champion. Also in 2010, he broke the automatically timed world record in the 200 metres hurdles. He was coached by Lloyd Cowan.

He served as Captain of the Great Britain Athletics Team at the 2015 European Athletics Indoor Championships and was coached in Bath by Malcolm Arnold. He was coached in Paris by Giscard Samba Koundys for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He currently works for Citigroup in London. He is also a member of the American Roosevelt family.
Cardiff Amateur Athletic Club, formed in 1882 as Roath (Cardiff) Harriers, is an athletics club based at the Cardiff International Sports Stadium, Cardiff. The club began as a cross country club, the first athletics only club in Wales. Roath Harriers runners became individual and team champions of the first Welsh Cross Country Championships, held on 7 March 1894. Roath Harriers shared Maindy Stadium with Birchgrove Harriers from its opening in 1951 and the two clubs amalgamated to form Cardiff Amateur Athletic Club in 1968. Cardiff were British Athletics League champions in 1973, 1974, and 1975 and remain one of the top twelve clubs in Britain.

Malcolm Arnold is an athletics coach working for UK Athletics and its predecessors since 1974. Currently, he is the National Event Coach for Hurdles and Senior Performance Coach for UK Athletics. He has attended every Olympic Games since Mexico City in 1968, 13 in all, as a coach to National Teams. He has been responsible for coaching athletes to more than 70 major medals over a 46-year coaching career. He retired on 31 December 2016.

Malcolm Grant is an American professional basketball player currently playing for Shahrdari Qazvin of the Iranian Basketball Super League. Born in Brooklyn, he played high school basketball for Robeson High School before going to The Winchendon School college prep school. He subsequently enrolled at Villanova University to play for the Wildcats. Following his freshman season at Villanova, he transferred to the University of Miami, where he played for the Miami Hurricanes.
Douglas "Doug" Turner is a British former track and field sprinter who competed mainly in the 200 metres. He was the silver medallist at the 1998 European Athletics Championships. His personal best for the 200 m was 20.43 seconds, set in 1996. He also represented Great Britain at the 1999 World Championships in Athletics and Wales at the Commonwealth Games in 1998 and 2002.
James Michael Apsley Turner, is an Australian Paralympic athlete and soccer player with cerebral palsy. He has represented Australia as part of the Australia Paralympic soccer team, the ParaRoos, and was its player of the year in 2013. At the 2016 Summer Paralympics, he won the Men's 800m T36 in a world record time of 2:02.39. At the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships in London, he won three gold medals; he followed this up with two gold medals at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai and a gold and silver medal at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
