Maldives Cup Winners' Cup was a tournament that was played between champions of the 4 major tournaments of previous year Dhivehi League, Maldives FA Cup, President's Cup (Maldives), and POMIS Cup.
Dhivehi League was a former Maldivian association football league, organized by the Football Association of Maldives. Every year, 8 teams competed in the league, which was the top level in the Maldivian football league system.
The Maldives FA Cup is Maldives's premier knockout tournament in men's football (soccer). Champion team will advance to qualify for the next year of AFC Cup.
