Maldives TV is the first International broadcasting TV channel of the Maldives launched in 2016.

Huvadhu, Suvadive, Suvaidu or Suvadiva is the atoll with the most islands in the world. The atoll is located in the Indian Ocean. It is south of the Suvadiva Channel in the Republic of Maldives with a total area of 3,152 km2, of which 38.5 km2 is dry land. The atoll contains 255 islands.

DhiTV brings Tharinge Rey in every Ramadan which actors/actresses and singers sing couple songs. DhiTV's transmission started at 2pm and ended at 12:30am; the rest of the time, it aired the transmission of DhiFM plus. Mostly DhiTV was known as an anti-MDP channel and a politics, news, and current affairs channel thus it shows entertainment and sports programs. It also brings meetings of political parties and coverage of other events.
