Despite similarities, Mamamia Show is not a licensed version of the Idols format distributed by FremantleMedia.

The seventh season of Indonesian Idol premiered on RCTI on February 17, 2012. The show aired every Friday at 8:00 pm and Re-run aired every Sunday at 1:00 pm.
