Man of Steel is a musical written by Simon Denver and Ian Dorricott, first published in 1978. [1] Written for performance by schools and drama groups, Man of Steel is based on the story of Superman, with a comedic spin.

Hershel of Ostropol is a prominent figure in Jewish humor. Hershel was a prankster from Ostropol, Crown Poland, who lived in poverty and targeted the rich and powerful, both Jew and Gentile.
