Manauna is a village at Aonla tehseel in Bareilly district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.


Manauna is 1 km from Aonla. It is one of the more populated villages in Aonla tehseel in manauna many religions peoples live together as well as happily. Hindus celebrate janmasthmi and dussehra joyfully. It has a number of temples, including Brahma Dev Maharaj temple, which devotees from nearby places visit daily. There is also an Industrial training institute.

Manauna dham is famous for Khatoo Shyam Mandir. Khatu Shyam is worshiped in this temple. This temple is still being built. In this, the idol of Khatu Shyam ji will be installed on 29th May. This temple is a newly constructed temple. It is at a distance of 45 KM from Bareilly Railway Station. There is more crowd of devotees on Tuesdays and Saturdays in Manauna Dham. The temple of Khatu Shyam is known as Barbarik. Which is also mentioned in Mahabharata.

Barbarika (Barbarīka) or Khatu Shyam, is a Hindu deity, mostly worshipped in Northern India. According to the Skanda Purana, Barbarika was the son of Ghatotkacha and Princess Maurvi, daughter of Daitya Moora, though other references state that he was a warrior from the south. He is not a character who appears in the original Mahabharata, likely retroactively added to certain traditions through syncretism. Barbarika was originally a yaksha, reborn as a man. He was bound by his principle of always fighting on the weaker side, which led him to stand witness to the Kurukshetra war without taking part in it.
