Manavasi is a village in Southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu between the cities of Karur and Trichy. It is located in the Karur district. It is the location of the Toll Plaza on the Karur - Trichy Highway. One of the oldest Lord Shiva temple is located in Manavasi where Lord Shiva facing west direction. Maanturai Amravaneswarar Temple, is a temple dedicated to Hindu deity Shiva, located in Manturai, a village in the outskirts of Trichy, in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams, where the three of the most revered Nayanars, Appar and Tirugnana Sambandar have glorified the temple with their verses during the 7th-8th century.
