Mandal is a town and tehsil in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan, India, known for its historical cenotaph, Battis Khambon ki Chhatri, and proximity to attractions like Meja Dam. It is located about 16 km from Bhilwara city and is also an assembly constituency. The area is administered as a gram panchayat and has a significant population, with a higher literacy rate than the state average.

Location

It s located 13 KM towards North from District head quarters Bhilwara. It is a Tehsil head quarter.

Bhilwara district came into existence in 1949, which constituted the merger of the Banera and Badnor chieftainships of Mewar State with Mandalgarh and Shahpura Thikana. [1]
