Beaver is a town and county seat in Beaver County, Oklahoma, United States. The community is in the Oklahoma Panhandle. As of the 2010 census, the town population was 1,515, a 3.5 percent decrease from 1,570 at the 2000 census. The city is host to the annual World Cow Chip Throwing Championship. Held in April, "Cow Chip" brings attention from nearby cities with a parade, carnival, and cowchip throwing.

Ron Hubbard House, also known as the Original Founding Church of Scientology, is a writer's house museum and former Scientology church located at 1812 19th Street NW in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C., United States. Public tours are given on a regular basis. The operating Founding Church is now located at 1424 16th Street for services, bookstore and classes. The home served as the residence of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard from 1955 until 1959, during which time he incorporated the Founding Church of Scientology and performed the first Scientology wedding. The building is a contributing property to the Dupont Circle Historic District, a neighborhood listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The district is located south of US Route 64 on the east and west sides of New Mexico Highway 21. In 1973, the district was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The buildings of Stone City Historic District were constructed using Anamosa Limestone quarried locally and built between 1870 and 1913.
The Kegler-Gonner Store and Post Office, also known simply as Gonner's Store, is a historic commercial building located in Springbrook, Iowa, United States. Christian Kegler had the western portion of this building constructed for his general store about 1874. The post office had relocated here two years previous with Kegler as the postmaster. Three additions were built on to the original structure. The building was in its final form by 1933. In 1904 John Gonner bought a stake in the store and by 1908 he owned it entirely. It was still known as Gonner's Store at least into the mid-1980s. A restaurant now occupies the area. Apartments are located on the second floor. The east side of the second level was once used as a boarding house.
The Centennial Depot, also known as the Nici Self Historical Museum, was built in 1907 for the Laramie, Hahns Peak and Pacific Railway in Centennial, Wyoming, United States. In addition to railroad services, the depot housed a post office and, at times, a grocery store. The depot was operated by the Union Pacific Railroad until the early 1970s. Demolition was proposed, but the depot was purchased by the Centennial Valley Historical Association, which moved it a short distance to its present site. It is operated as the Nici Self Museum.
